Look at nature. A sea turtle doesn’t calculate its macros. A zebra doesn’t feel guilty for grabbing an extra bite. Every living creature on this planet has a biological imperative to nourish itself.
So why are humans the only species that attach shame and morality to a basic, fundamental survival need?
Somewhere along the line, diet culture convinced us that our natural hunger cues are something to be feared, suppressed, or controlled. We’ve been taught to override our own biology, and it’s exhausting.
True food freedom is about unlearning the societal guilt and getting back to the basics: trusting your body, feeding it what it needs, and living your life. You deserve to nourish yourself just as freely as the rest of the animal kingdom.
