Self-discovery is not about becoming someone new — it’s about reconnecting with who you’ve always been beneath the pressure, expectations, fear, and survival mode.
Growth can look like:
• setting boundaries without guilt
• learning your emotional triggers
• choosing peace over proving yourself
• allowing yourself to rest
• letting go of versions of yourself that no longer fit
Healing is not linear, and self-discovery is not a race. Every experience teaches you something about your needs, values, strengths, and resilience.
You are allowed to evolve.
You are allowed to outgrow people, patterns, and environments.
You are allowed to choose yourself.

It looks like:
• Being productive
• Overachieving
• Always helping others

But internally, it can feel like:
• Constant overthinking

May is Mental Health Awareness Month 💚

As a clinician, this work is more than a profession—it’s deeply personal. My journey has shown me just how vital visibility is when it comes to mental health. The conversations we have (and the ones we avoid) shape lives in ways we don’t always see.

I’ve made it my mission to advocate, to speak openly, and to hold space for those who feel unseen or unheard. Being a voice for the voiceless isn’t just something I believe in—it’s something I live every day.
