At IHCS, health means more than the results of a checkup. It includes mental health, stable housing, and the everyday support that helps someone stay well over time.

That's what whole-person care means: treating a person's full circumstances, not just a diagnosis.

Primary care, behavioral health, housing, and supportive services all operate as one coordinated model here, working together rather than as separate programs. When those pieces connect, care becomes easier to access and easier to sustain.

Whole-person care is how IHCS approaches health every day.

Many people first come to IHCS through one door, maybe a primary care visit or a housing referral, and discover from there how much else connects to it. Primary care, behavioral health, housing, and supportive services all operate as one coordinated system rather than separate programs.

A person receiving medical care can also access therapy, case management, and housing support through that same relationship, all working together from the start.

That coordination reflects how health actually works. Someone managing a chronic condition is often also navigating stress, housing stability, or access to transportation, and addressing the whole picture leads to stronger, more lasting outcomes. IHCS builds services around the whole person, so every part of someone's care stays connected.

Housing is healthcare. At IHCS, that's more than a slogan, it's central to how care actually gets delivered: primary care, behavioral health, and a stable home, addressed together at Dignity Village so people have what they need to get better.

Today is the last day every donation to The Dignity Challenge gets matched, doubling its impact. But this work doesn't stop when the match period ends. Giving, volunteering, and spreading the word all keep IHCS's programs running for the residents who depend on them.

Thank you to everyone who's helped expand this work so far, your support is what's made Dignity Village possible and what keeps it growing.

Dignity Village depends on more than one kind of support.

👩🏾‍⚕️Staff run things day to day, delivering primary care, behavioral health, housing support, and outreach to residents.

🏘Donors make that work sustainable, funding it so it can keep operating year after year. Volunteers add to it directly, sharing skills with residents or taking part in community events that bring people together.

🏥Healthcare partners refer people in, connecting patients to a level of coordinated care they couldn't get through a single provider alone.

👫And the community at large keeps this visible, sharing the message so more people in Palm Beach County can access housing and care through IHCS programs.

Each group plays a different part, and all of them are what keeps Dignity Village standing.

Continued investment is what lets IHCS turn a donation into permanent housing and coordinated care for the people who need it most.

The Paul J. Friedman family gave one example of what that looks like, their support secured eight apartments, giving 21 unsheltered veterans and individuals living with mental health disabilities a permanent address along with primary care, behavioral health services, and wraparound support.

For more than 20 years, donors, volunteers, and healthcare partners have kept investing in that same model, and each contribution adds more housing, more care, and more residents reached.

A strong community gives people opportunities to connect, build relationships, and feel that they belong. Those connections also play an important role in health and well-being.

Dr. Monique Brown-Faust has carried that understanding into her leadership at IHCS. Her work has helped strengthen relationships across Palm Beach County and expand programs that keep people connected to care, housing, support, and their community.

You can see that commitment throughout IHCS: in neighborhood outreach, community health events, partnerships, and Dignity Village, where residents have a permanent home and an ongoing network of care and support.

Her nomination for the Nonprofit Community Hero Award recognizes years of service and a deep commitment to the community IHCS serves. 💚

Congratulations, Dr. Brown-Faust! 👏

We’re honored to see Integrated Healthcare Systems nominated for the 2026 Nonprofit of the Year Impact Award in Health & Wellness! 💚

IHCS has built its work around an integrated model of care, connecting primary care and behavioral health with permanent supportive housing, case management, community outreach, and health education across Palm Beach County.

Dignity Village is a key part of that model. It provides permanent supportive housing while connecting residents to the care and services they need to maintain housing, improve their health, and build greater independence over time. It is designed as a long-term solution rather than a temporary response to housing instability.

This nomination recognizes the work our team has put into building a system where housing and healthcare are addressed together, with services coordinated around the needs of the people we serve.

Congratulations to our entire IHCS team! 👏
