On Saturday, August 22, you'll have access to an inspiring lineup of workshops designed to help you reconnect with yourself, your community and nature. Throughout the day, you'll find experiences centered around wellness, creativity, movement and personal growth offering opportunities to relax, recharge, build confidence, discover new skills in a welcoming environment.

In addition to workshops, enjoy live music from Cumberland Honey, shop unique vendors, hear from keynote speaker Latha Jay, savor delicious food, and experience a full day dedicated to connection, inspiration, and the outdoors.

What a gift! One of my lovely clients brought me flowers from her and her neighbor’s gardens, and it got me thinking.
Each flower carries a little piece of beauty, mindfulness, and happiness. Each one is perfectly unique in size, color, texture, shape, and scent. Yet their beauty is amplified when their differences come together in a simple bouquet. And I think the same can be said for all of us. The greatest experience of running my small business is getting to know so many different, wonderful people. So thank you all for that. And thank you, Bonnie. You reminded me that happiness grows best when it’s shared. Your thoughtful gift has brightened my heart and my store.

My fabulous summer intern has been busy helping me with so many projects! I am so grateful to have her help. Here are some snapshots she took around the store. Let’s show her work some love, and come on in and shop our summer sale. Today we are open until 3 pm. Wednesday morning we are doing our final summer workshop at LCCC—shout out to the KEYS program for inviting us! 🫶🏻 Thursday we are open 12-5:30. Friday we are open 12:30-4. We are closed on most weekends this summer for some much needed self-care but will happily meet you with zero pressure by appointment any day of the week. Just reach out. Thanks for your kind and compassionate understanding! 💕🌸🌳

In the recent weeks, I realized how off balance my self-care has been. Wearing many hats as a business owner, I noticed I can get so focused on the daily grind that I forget to stop and smell the roses. So this summer, I am reflecting on what is most aligned with my heart, what I need as a person, and I am taking the time to care for my spirit. How many hats are you wearing? Is self-care one of them? Maybe it should be. Join me for a recommitment to self-care this summer. I included 30 days of ideas for you. What are you doing for your own mind, body, and spirit?
