So proud to have been part of this project since the beginning! Our Chief of Safety, Matt Pawlak, remembers a field of dirt when he arrived 2 1/2 years ago. Now look at this beauty! Omega provides site based safety staffing services, as well as confined space rescue services through our partnership with Code Red Safety. We look forward to continued meaningful support of site subs, PECNA, IPI and TY through the development of Wing 2.
Today marks a monumental milestone in our journey toward a more sustainable future. Just one week after we started mass production, we’re proud to unveil our new state-of-the-art EV battery facility in De Soto, Kansas. This site represents a major investment in innovation, clean energy, and economic growth.
Built to scale production of Panasonic’s 2170 EV batteries, the facility is more than just a factory. It is a symbol of progress. With cutting-edge technology and up to 4,000 new jobs expected, Panasonic Energy is helping power the future of mobility in the heart of America.
