I do have easy directions for those that want to treat head lice on their own without paying hundreds or even thousands of dollars to a company that won’t even guarantee their work (the reason I started this). Hey there, families! Just a heads up, my Facebook silence doesn't mean I'm not waging war on head lice! It's peak season, and parents all over the Southtown’s are freaking out. To avoid the itch, remember: up-dos are a must, no sharing is caring (hoodies, headphones, hats, hair stuff, or helmets), and no head-to-head hijinks. Hello ya’ll! Head Lice is still pretty rampant in our parts 😬. I’ve treated more adults than kids in recent weeks. Tip: while showering, brush your hair out to remove tangles, then use a head lice comb throughout. Make sure you’re gently scraping your scalp as you pull the comb all the way through your hair. Inspect the comb, rinse it off and continue in different spots of the head. Give me a call if you spot any small, dark colored bugs. This is not a substitute for an actual head lice comb out but it will allow you to check your own hair without intervention.

The winter weather won’t stop our little friends 🫣. Head Lice may be slower in speed this time of year but they’re still spreading. In fact, they’re looking for a nice warm host to live off of. To help prevent head lice, avoid head to head contact and sharing winter gear. This includes hats, face masks, hoodies and helmets.
