Glinda Pressley Jenkins, 68, of Newry, SC, passed away Saturday, August 22, 2026 at her residence.

A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Jenkins was the daughter of the late Harold Gene Pressley and Joann Turpin Pressley. She retired from Easley Baptist Hospital and was a member of Lydia Baptist Church.

Mrs. Jenkins is survived by her son: Bradley Carver (Lisa) of Newry; daughter: Stacey Jenkins of Newry; grandchildren: Daily Young, Emily Young (Terry Towe), and Dalton Carver.

A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Lydia Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 PM, Saturday, August 29, 2026, prior to the service, at Lydia Baptist Church.

A private burial will be held.

David Alexander Main, 80, of Seneca, South Carolina passed away at his home on August 16, 2026. David was born on June 24, 1946 in South Shields, England to Fred and Eva Main.

After graduating from University of Sunderland in 1974 with his Master’s Degree in Physics, he
started his career at Pyrotenax in England and relocated to Ontario, Canada in 1976. After
working briefly at General Electric, he started working at Sangamo (later became Schlumberger)
and transferred to West Union, SC in 1991. David was the Quality Assurance Manager until his
retirement. Through his work, he traveled the world and built friendships in many countries
including China, India, Japan, and Canada.

David was always tinkering with projects either at his home or helping someone else. He
enjoyed fixing things and finding old treasures in antique shops to work on, especially old clocks
and radios. David loved all types of music but was especially known for blasting Pink Floyd at
max volume. In his younger years, he enjoyed painting with many of his original pieces still
adorning the walls of his home today. He loved wearing bright clothes, quoting Monty Python,
and lending a helping hand to anyone and everyone. David was always smiling in life and loved
nothing more than being surround by family, friends, and his 2 cats.

Forest Blaine Cromley, 70, husband of Darlene Denise Roper Fleischer Cromley, of Seneca, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at his home.

Born in Warren, Ohio, Mr. Cromley was the son of Donna Jean Gill Cromley and the late John Oliver Cromley. He lived most of his life in Champion Township; and was a 1974 graduate of Champion High School in Trumbull County, OH. After high school, Blaine served in the U.S. Air Force for 4 ½ years and has since served in the Air Force Reserves until his military retirement in August 2010. Blaine’s home station for the Reserves was in Vienna, OH, where he was the Supply Superintendent. He was activated several times for Reserve duty overseas, including: serving as a supply representative in Panama in The Operation Volant Oak drug interdiction effort; serving as First Sergeant in Operation Cobra Gold and a seven-day, around-the-world flight beginning and ending in Ubon, Thailand; serving as First Sergeant in Operation Shining Hope at Ramstein Air Force Base in Germany; serving as Senior Master Sergeant at Ramstein in support of Operation Joint Forge in the Balkans, Operation Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan and Operation Iraqi Freedom; serving as Senior Master Sergeant at Doha, Quatar in support of Operation Enduring freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom. Blaine also worked for 18 years at a Kmart distribution center before working 21 years for Dillon’s Plastics in Middlefield, Geauga County, OH.

Margaret Kirby Black, 89, wife of the late Charles Ernest Black, of Seneca, went to her heavenly home on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at The Residences at Park Place.

A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Black was the daughter of the late Christopher Columbus Kirby and Annie Betty Sanders Kirby, and was lovingly raised by her beloved Granny, Callie Kirby. She retired from Sangamo and later went to work at Tri-Star Imports, where she continued to lead and encourage those around her. Mrs. Black cherished spending time alongside her husband of 66 years as they gardened and fished together. She was passionate about cooking for her friends and family and loved fiercely through her many acts of service. She loved being needed and had a true servant’s heart, always finding ways to care for, encourage, and make a difference in the lives of those around her, whether they knew her personally or simply met her in passing. Mrs. Black was a faithful member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Seneca. Her faith in Christ was the foundation of her life and the source of the love she so freely gave to others.

Deborah Lynn Burrell Williams, 73, wife of the Gregory Williams, of Walhalla, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at Lila Doyle Post Acute.

A native of Oconee County, Mrs. Williams was the daughter of the late William D. and Lucille Fricks Burrell. She devoted 30 years of service to Oconee Memorial Hospital working as a Materials Specialist. Since the age of twelve, Mrs. Williams was a member of Scenic Heights Baptist Church.

Along with her husband, Mrs. Williams is survived by her son: Dennis White of Walhalla; daughter: Lisa White Murphy (Bo) of Seneca; brothers: Marty Burrell (Jan) of West Union and Denny Burrell (Anna) of Walhalla; sister: Holly Holden (Donnie) of Tamassee; grandchildren: Zachary Murphy, Madelyn Murphy, Alyssa Marin, and Kirsten Brown; and great-grandchildren: Riley Lance and Natalie Gillespie.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her brother: Eric Burrell; and sister: Sherry Brown.

Matthew “Matt” David Bradbury, 65, husband of Karen Bradbury of Salem, SC, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

Born in Huntington, NY, the second of five kids, Matt was the son of Rev. Robert “Bob” and Beverly Saft Bradbury. He grew up in Bloomfield, NJ where he learned entrepreneurship from a young age, often discovering treasures while curbside thrifting, repairing and selling them for profit. He and his siblings regularly set up their own farmers market on the neighborhood corner, selling vegetables from their garden to the community. He graduated from Hopewell High School (Aliquippa, PA) where he was active in football, basketball, theater, musicals, choir and band. Matt loved the outdoors and was a proud Eagle Scout who carried that survival, do-it-yourself mentality his whole life. His strong work ethic was evident from a young age. During his high school summers, he worked on a dairy farm alongside his good friend, Bob Foster, where he developed valuable skills, lifelong memories, and a practical lesson he never forgot: bulls don't get milked.

Matt met his life-long sweetheart, Karen, during his freshman year of college. They came from humble beginnings, marrying at 19 and quickly starting their family while attending and graduating from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He loved her fiercely for 45 years and if he had his way, he would have loved her earthside for at least another 50 years. Matt...

A native of Tamassee, SC, Mrs. Burrell was the daughter of the late James Shirley and Ovaline Crowe. She was of the Church of God faith.

Mrs. Burrell is survived by her son: Nelson Fretwell (Kasie); daughter: Lora Scharf (James); brother: Allen Crowe (Gail); grandchildren: Billy, McKenna, Adyn, Austin and Thomas; great-grandchildren: Kaia, Koda and Dax; nieces: Donna Chapman (Cole), Connie Dendy (Henry) and Heather Williams (Johnie); and nephew: Clint Price (Denise).

Kenneth Terry Mason, 74, husband of the late Sheila Lynn Mason, of Seneca, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2026, at The Residences of Park Place.

A native of Oconee County, SC, Mr. Mason was the son of the late Clarence Cleveland and Mildred Coope Mason. He was a United States Air Force veteran, a graduate of Limestone College, and retired from Duke Energy, where he worked as a maintenance instructor, procedure writer, and I & E technician. Mr. Mason was a life-long member of Utica Baptist Church and served in deacon ministry as chairman and as a regular deacon for multiple years in addition to other service and leadership roles at the church.

Mr. Mason is survived by his son: Kenneth Mason (Rebekah) of Seneca; daughter: Megan Mason of Seneca; and granddaughters: Erinn Mason and Bethany Mason.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Mason was preceded in death by a brother: Morris Toney Mason; and infant grandson: Ashton Mason.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, August 20, 2026, at Davenport Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.
