Welcome to Glen Meadows’ very first Resident Exhibit Fair! 🎟️

Residents were invited to display sentimental collections, handmade creations, treasured keepsakes, and more as an opportunity to share their talents, hobbies, and interests with our community and they certainly did not disappoint!

We loved getting a closer look at the things our residents have created, collected, and cherished over the years, and even more, hearing the stories behind them. ❤️ What a special way to learn a little more about the incredible people who make Glen Meadows home!

In the spirit of the Iowa State Fair later this month, residents can look forward to a new weekly Guessing Jar in the lobby! Every Wednesday, a brand-new display will be revealed, giving residents the chance to take their best guess at how many items are in the jar for an opportunity to win prizes! Happy Nature Conservation Day from Glen Meadows! 🌱 We made sure to celebrate our love for nature in more ways than one!

We began the morning by creating fresh floral arrangements to brighten our community and kick off the day with a little extra color. Then, we spent the afternoon getting hands-on for the love of our small feathered and winged friends, making DIY bird feeders with pinecones, peanut butter, and birdseed, as well as butterfly watering stations to transform our patio into a welcoming butterfly oasis!

We wrapped up the evening with an informative documentary about our planet, exploring the importance of conserving, respecting, and caring for the animals and the world we all share. 💚
