If you would have told me I'd be leading my very own wellness studio 6 years ago, I would have laughed. Me!? This 91% introverted human with a severe case of RBF!? I never would have thought.
6 years ago, I decided to take my yogic journey further. I love to learn, and this felt like the next step to lean into what brought me so much joy, relief, and support. I didn't go into my training wanting to teach. It was purely out of the love of the culture, philosophies, and historic practice that I signed up. In fact, I almost cancelled the night before my training started. I was so nervous and anxious. But I didn't.
It didn't take me long to realize that the training I initially signed up for was not the authentic, honorable experience I was intending to have. The flames of passion and determination ignited a spark in me I didn't know I was capable of. I started my business. Mid-training, I went to work on how to ensure I didn't further white-wash this beautiful art of connection and healing. I launched right away, not allowing the fear to hold me back this time, just throwing myself into Universe's plan.
6 months later, I gained my first private client. It was awkward. She reached out, I responded, silence. I was TERRIFIED to send a follow-up. I typically wouldn't - feels too salesy. But the sheer panic inside of me made the edges of my soul burn and I worked through that pain to check in with her. Alas, this client has been with me the entire time. In fact, the clients I have today have been with me for over 5 years. π₯Ή
I remember being at my ex's family's event, and the grandfather asked me what I do and what my goals were. I told him it was to open my own yoga studio. My ex's mom scoffed. That was all I needed to solidify that what I was doing was right. That the fear others have and that I have felt will never be worth more than the trials that I have overcome to get to where I am today. Even now, mundane life thoughts say you should be further, you're not good enough, not yet. But I know those are the leftovers from the lives I've outgrown, the struggles I've pushed through, and the intense healing I've endured.
Those are just glimpses into the energy felt during this process. The modalities I offer are intentional; weaving their natural cultural history and education with modern science and accessibility is something I haven't witnessed much of in this industry. When you take an ancient practice and roll with it, you lose its purpose. And without that purpose, you have injury and traumas that occur. So, I encourage you to practice mindfulness when seeking ways to implement wellbeing into your life. Whether it be Yoga, Pilates, Energy Work or Sound Bathing, or anything else that you spend your time and efforts on. It's important.
YOU are important. And you deserve to be supported in your journey.
So, please help me give the BIGGEST fu***ng thank you to the people who supported my dream to support their own journey:

You all are the reason that keeps me going. The reason I still power through the setbacks and growing pangs. Witnessing your growth and quality of life change has been the greatest heartwarming feeling I've ever experienced. I am so proud of you. Thank you, from the depth of my soul to yours, thank you.
And a very special thank you to everyone who has ever come to a class, explored something new, learned something about themselves, and ventured into their lives with me. You are worth the time, the energy, to keep striving for happiness and peace.
Happy 6 year anniversary, Nadi! You have grown, you have struggled, you have excelled, you have lost, you have gained. And now, you deserve this next phase in your journey.
Coming soon...
