🧬 Sculptra Aesthetic is made of poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA), which acts as a collagen stimulator. As the Sculptra PLLA microparticles are absorbed, they help stimulate collagen production. Rebuilt collagen strands begin gradually helping to restore facial volume and the look of fullness to wrinkles and folds. By 13 weeks (on average) the PLLA has actually been resorbed by the body, but the collagen rebuilding continues for several weeks after that.
