Strong, healthy quadriceps do more than power your workouts. They help support every step, squat, stair climb, and sit to stand movement throughout the day.

When these muscles become tight or overworked, they can contribute to stiffness, reduced mobility, discomfort around the kneecap, and low back discomfort. Because the quadriceps attach to the pelvis, excessive tightness can affect the way your hips move, increase stress on the lower back, and make activities like running, cycling, lifting, hiking, and even everyday movement feel more difficult.

Cupping therapy is one of the tools I use to help improve tissue mobility and reduce restrictions. Depending on your goals, I may combine it with movement, stretching, or massage techniques to help the tissue move more freely instead of only treating the muscle while it is at rest.

Every treatment is customized based on your symptoms, your movement, and how your body responds because no two people are exactly alike.

If your quads are feeling tight, limiting your movement, or contributing to knee discomfort, I would be happy to help. Book online through the link in my bio or send me a message with any questions.

Whether you run, lift, bike, spend long hours sitting, or simply stay active, tight or restricted hamstrings can contribute to stiffness, reduced mobility, knee and low back discomfort, and that constant feeling that your legs never quite loosen up.

Cupping therapy is one of the tools I use to help improve tissue mobility and reduce restrictions. Depending on your goals, I may combine it with movement, stretching, or massage techniques to help the tissue move more freely instead of just treating it while it’s at rest.

Every treatment is customized based on your symptoms, your movement, and how your body responds because no two people (or hamstrings) are exactly alike.

If tight hamstrings are limiting your movement or keeping you from feeling your best, I’d be happy to help. Book online through the link in my bio or send me a message with any questions.

Second year at RAGBRAI ✔️

Hundreds of miles ridden. Countless sore muscles worked on. One tornado warning. Amazing teammates. Incredible host families. And a week I’ll be grateful for for a long time.

Working alongside the Stoik Body Co. team again this year reminded me why I love what I do. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping someone get off the table moving a little easier than when they climbed on.

Thank you to every rider who trusted us, every host who welcomed us into their home, and everyone who made this week such a memorable experience.

Now I’m back in the office this week and excited to get back to helping my own clients feel their best.

Real results come from taking the time your body actually needs.

One of the biggest misconceptions about massage is that more pressure always means better results. In reality, muscles often respond best to slow, sustained pressure that gives the tissue time to release.

Rather than rushing from one sore spot to the next, I spend the time each area needs. And because pain and tension are rarely isolated, true relief often comes from releasing not just the painful muscle, but the surrounding muscles that are contributing to it as well.

Every session is intentional, focused, and tailored to help address the source of the problem, not just the symptoms.

Thank you for trusting me with your care and for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. It truly means the world to my small business.

Your summer shouldn’t be limited by tight muscles.

Every hike, run, workout, road trip, and weekend project adds up. If your body is working harder this time of year, your recovery should be too.

Take 10% off any massage booked during July and keep doing more of what you love without letting soreness hold you back.

Your calves do far more than just help you walk.

Every step, squat, run, jump, or climb relies on multiple muscles working together. When one area becomes tight or overloaded, it can affect ankle mobility, foot mechanics, and even contribute to discomfort further up the chain.

While many people think of the calf as one muscle, treatment may involve the:
• Gastrocnemius
• Soleus
• Tibialis Anterior
• Lateral compartment muscles

Each has a different job, which means each deserves a different approach.

Cupping is one tool I use alongside sustained pressure, trigger point therapy, and movement to help reduce tension, improve tissue mobility, and restore normal function.

If your calves constantly feel tight despite stretching, it may be time to address the tissue itself instead of just pulling on it.

Book your session and let’s find the source of the problem.

Shoulders are designed to move.

When certain muscles become restricted, that movement can become uncomfortable, limited, or feel “stuck.”

One muscle that can contribute to those restrictions is the subscapularis, located beneath the shoulder blade.

This clip shows focused work to the subscapularis followed by movement and stretching to encourage mobility and reduce restriction.

Potential benefits may include:

• Improved shoulder mobility
• Easier overhead movement
• Reduced shoulder tension
• Improved comfort with everyday activities

Every area of the body works together. Addressing restriction at its source can often help improve movement as a whole.

The muscles between and around the shoulder blades play an important role in how your neck, shoulders, and upper body move. When these tissues become restricted, the effects can show up as:

• Neck stiffness
• Shoulder tension
• Tension headaches
• Reduced mobility
• Numbness or tingling caused by irritated or compressed nerves
• Discomfort that radiates into the shoulder or arm

This is why I don’t just focus on where symptoms show up. I focus on the surrounding muscles and movement patterns that may be contributing to the problem.

Using trigger point therapy, firm pressure holds, and focused bodywork, the goal is to reduce restriction, improve mobility, and help your body move more comfortably.

Where you feel the pain isn’t always where the problem begins
