This year's International Overdose Awareness Day theme, "25 Years On. Still Needed.," marks the 25th anniversary of the campaign and serves as a powerful reminder that the overdose crisis continues to impact individuals, families, and communities around the world.

Today, we honor the lives lost, support those affected by substance use disorders and advocate for greater access to prevention, treatment and recovery resources. This International Overdose Awareness Day, we come together as one community to raise awareness, reduce stigma, remember loved ones, and take action to prevent overdose. Every conversation matters. Every act of compassion matters. Every life matters.
