Yesterday, we hosted a Country BBQ that ended up being our biggest turnout yet! While our dining room was at capacity, it did not stop our kitchen staff from providing tons of delicious ribs, brisket, corn and more! We also served apple pie and cotton candy for dessert, and had Jorene & Steve perform some country favorites! A great time was had by all at "The Highlands Ranch!"

The Highlands held a Daisy Gala for our residents this past week and it was a beautiful evening. We started off with a cocktail hour served by our hairdresser, Andrea and her mom and fellow Highlands family, Deb. There was a cheese and fruit platter to accompany both the spiked punch and a sunrise mocktail. Then, a delicious meal was served by our kitchen staff which included steak tips, baked shrimp and more. The evening concluded with music played by Frank the DJ, who had a few residents on the dance floor until the very last minute of the event! Thank you to all residents, staff, and entertainment for helping make such a lovely night possible!

With over 40 guests, it's safe to say our St. Patrick's Day feast was a great success! With some help from residents, staff, and a little leprechaun, we enjoyed a delicious corned beef and cabbage dinner along with a yummy mint ice cream pie!

We had a great afternoon at our Italian Festival! Residents and visitors mingled and shared stories as they enjoyed yummy bruschetta and drank non-alcoholic sangria. Our buffet constisted of pasta primavera, chicken marsala, shrimp scampi and antipasto salad. The afternoon was topped off with cannolis and a small bottle of olive oil as a take home favor.
