During department meetings this past month, EVS and dietary staff engaged in interactive learning with Infection Control. Infection prevention remains a key part of maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff alike. Tracy EVS staff working on donning and doffing for isolation rooms and dietary staff in Westbrook working on handwashing with a little “glow germ” fun.

Lab Week 2026 was one for the books! Our Laboratory teams celebrated with a “Toy Story – Lab Story” theme, lab‑appropriate games and a delicious potluck at both our Tracy and Westbrook locations. While the fun was well deserved, it also gave us a chance to reflect on just how vital our laboratory professionals are to health care.

From delivering accurate, timely results to supporting clinical decision‑making behind the scenes, their work impacts nearly every patient, every day. We are incredibly grateful for their dedication, expertise, and teamwork—and we appreciate everything they do, not just during Lab Week, but everyday.

What a fantastic day at the Prairie Women’s Expo on April 11 at the Tracy Veterans Center!

Our Sanford Health team loved connecting with the community while sharing information on heart health, various cancers, mental health, and preventive care. Attendees even got a glowing lesson on proper hand hygiene with our glow‑germ activity.

From exploring local vendors to enjoying a fabulous fashion show, this empowering event—organized by the Tracy Area Chamber of Commerce—was truly inspiring. Thank you for the sponsorship opportunity!
