BIG NEWS at Acadia! 📣

We’re excited to welcome Alison Verdes, MA, CCC-SLP to Acadia Psychology & Learning Services and officially introduce speech-language therapy as a new service for children and teens in Central Ohio!

Alison is a strengths-based, neuro-affirming speech-language pathologist who provides:

💚 Speech and language evaluations
💚 Individualized therapy
💚 Parent coaching and consultation

One of the things we’re most excited about is the opportunity for greater collaboration! Having a speech-language pathologist on our team allows us to provide even more comprehensive care, particularly during evaluations for autism and other developmental concerns where communication and language are an important part of the clinical picture.

⭐️ Alison is also an approved provider for both the Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship and the Autism Scholarship, helping make services more accessible for Ohio families.

She’s detail-oriented, efficient, and a problem-solver and collaborator. With her expertise, she will be an excellent additional resource to our clients! She aligns with our mission of being heart-led in all that we do 💚

In her free time she enjoys spending time on Lake Erie, doing pilates, and frequenting all of Cleveland’s local coffee shops. Welcome, Rose!! 🎉
