🌟 Staff Spotlight: Irma Moreira 🌟

Meet Irma, a Medical Assistant and Scrub Technician in our Clifton office who will celebrate nine years with The Cardiovascular Care Group this November!

Irma began her TCVCG career at the front desk and has continued to grow into new roles over the years. Before joining our team, she gained experience in several medical specialties, including chiropractic care, ophthalmology, and bariatric surgery.

For Irma, the most rewarding part of her work is seeing the positive impact that compassionate care can have on patients—from helping ease their anxiety before a procedure to seeing them return feeling healthier and more comfortable.

“What I enjoy most is knowing that the work we do improves our patients’ quality of life. I also appreciate learning new skills and working alongside such an experienced and dedicated team.”

Irma describes TCVCG in three words: compassion, teamwork, and dedication. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends, trying new restaurants, and enjoying the outdoors when the weather permits.

Thank you, Irma, for the skill, heart, and dedication you bring to our patients and team every day. We’re fortunate to have you as part of The Cardiovascular Care Group family!

For patients with kidney failure, a reliable dialysis access is essential—and that's where a vascular surgeon plays a critical role.

An arteriovenous (AV) fistula is considered the preferred form of dialysis access because it uses your own blood vessels to create a durable, long-lasting connection for treatment. In this video, Dr. Levison explains what an AV fistula is, why it's often the best option, and how vascular surgeons help patients prepare for dialysis with personalized access planning.

Could The Care Screen Be Right for You?

You don't have to have symptoms to benefit from a vascular screening.
If you're 40 or older and any of the following apply to you, it may be time to take a proactive look at your vascular health:

✔ You have high blood pressure
✔ You have high cholesterol
✔ You have diabetes
✔ You have a history of smoking
✔ You have a family history of stroke, heart disease, kidney failure, or aneurysm
✔ You lead a sedentary lifestyle or are overweight

Many vascular conditions develop silently for years before symptoms appear. That's why The Care Screen was created—to help detect potential issues early, when they may be easier to manage.

In just 30 minutes, you'll receive four non-invasive vascular screenings performed by the specialists at The Cardiovascular Care Group.

💙 Know where you stand. Gain peace of mind.

Nothing means more to us than hearing about a positive patient experience. We're grateful for the trust our patients place in Dr. Sales and our team every day.

"I had a consultation with Dr. Clifford Sales to ascertain the degree of carotid blockage. Dr. Sales and his staff, as always, were the epitome of courtesy and professionalism on every detail. Notably, he was very patient with my hearing impairment and accommodating for my special needs. He delineated my diagnosis to my total satisfaction." – Richie
