From tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies! We had the amazing opportunity to watch nature’s transformation firsthand! We started with 8 tiny caterpillars and watched them grow, form their chrysalises, and a few days later emerge as beautiful butterflies. We had a jazzy good time at our Satchmo Fest! Our residents enjoyed delicious beignets, wonderful live entertainment, and plenty of toe-tapping jazz music! Our Compass neighborhood held a family Carnival to celebrate Fair and Carnival Reconnections week. We had so much fun winning stuffed animals at the game booths, sang lots of 50s songs and took silly pictures with props! Allison and Tom were amazing Carnival assistants. We had the sweetest visitors stop by—three adorable therapy pigs! Our residents enjoyed watching them show off their tricks, from sitting and spinning to sniffing out treats hidden under cups. Their handlers were so informative and shared lots of fun facts about these amazing animals. And of course, we couldn’t resist trying some pig yoga with our staff!
