Took the day off for the holiday and planned to get your exercise outdoors… then the rain hit?

Don’t let a little weather wash away your movement plans. A short indoor workout can boost your mood, increase energy, improve circulation, and help you feel your best for the rest of the day.

Try this simple 15-minute Rainy Day Routine:

☔ 1 Minute March in Place
☔ 10 Bodyweight Squats
☔ 10 Wall Push-Ups
☔ 30 Seconds High Knees (or brisk marching)
☔ 10 Standing Side Bends Each Side
☔ 10 Glute Bridges
☔ 30 Seconds Plank (or countertop plank)
☔ 1 Minute Stretch & Deep Breathing

Repeat 2–3 rounds at your own pace. A few minutes of activity is always better than none, and your body will thank you for it.

Fire up the grill and enjoy a few fresh, nutritious additions to your holiday menu! Save this as you plan your cookouts!

🍢 Simple Grilled Chicken Kabobs

Ingredients

* 1 lb chicken breast, cubed
* Bell peppers, zucchini, and red onion chunks
* 2 tbsp olive oil
* Garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper

Directions

1. Toss chicken and vegetables with oil and seasonings.
2. Thread onto skewers and grill 10–12 minutes, turning occasionally.



🌽 Grilled Corn & Avocado Salad

Ingredients

* 4 ears corn
* 1 avocado, diced
* ¼ cup red onion, finely chopped
* Juice of 1 lime
* Salt and pepper

Directions

1. Grill corn until lightly charred; cool and cut kernels off.
2. Toss with avocado, onion, lime juice, salt, and pepper.

Functional movement is the foundation of real-life strength, helping the body move with greater stability, mobility, balance, and confidence through everyday activities.

Mobility is about more than flexibility.
It’s your ability to move through life with comfort, strength, balance, and freedom.

Good mobility can support:
• Better posture
• Joint health
• Improved balance
• Everyday strength
• Reduced stiffness
• Easier daily movement

Mobility matters in the small moments:
Reaching overhead.
Getting up from the floor.
Walking comfortably.
Carrying groceries.
Keeping up with life.

Without regular movement, our bodies can gradually become tighter, stiffer, and less supported, especially with stress, sitting, repetitive movement, or aging.
