Getting out of bed may seem simple, but during pregnancy or anytime you have back pain, how you move matters.
Rolling on to your side and using your arms to push up can help decrease back pain, diastasis, and unnecessary strain on your pelvic floor.

Some clinics offer pelvic floor therapy…. It’s all way we do here. Why does that matter? Specialized care = faster progress and better results.

Just clearing up some confusion. Perimenopause occurs about 10 years prior to menopause. Hot flashes, sleep disturbances, brain fog, and low energy are some of the most common symptoms. Menopause occurs following 1 year of no periods. After that you will forever be post menopausal. That doesn’t mean your night sweats, fatigue, mood swings go away. The changes that occur during this stage of life can affect you forever, but luckily there is help! At Davis Pelvic Health, I help women resolve bladder issues, painful s*x or frequent UTIs, constipation and other bowel issues, and so much more. Call today and find out how pelvic therapy could help you!

We don’t rotate enough in our day-to-day life. After pregnancy and postpartum, this matters even more. If your thoracic spine is stiff, your body will compensate somewhere else. This can make it harder for your core and pelvic floor to work the way they’re supposed to. Adding in gentle rotation, like this exercise can help restore, balance, improve coordination, and reduce unnecessary strain.

When I had my babies, I didn’t feel prepared.
I didn’t fully understand how to push, how to breathe, and how to minimize tearing. And that felt scary.

And that’s exactly why I created a Birth Prep Program where you can learn:
• How to push effectively
• Positions for pushing (and why they matter)
• Pain management options (so you can choose what’s right for you)
• Ways to help labor progress
• Strategies to help reduce tearing (when possible)

This is for you if:
✨ You’re feeling nervous about labor
✨ You want to feel prepared and not overwhelmed
✨ You want guidance and knowledge
