While the people of Hastinapur grieve for the Pandavas, Vidur suspects they are still alive since he sent them the rat to warn them, and he knows they are smart and put it together what was actually happening. Krishna and Rukmini walk on the beach, and Rukmini is distraught thinking about the Pandavas, especially since Arjun helped save her. Krishna hints that things aren’t always what they seem and Rukmini gets her hopes up but Krishna remains vague. We knew Drupad was crazy but after he lost to Drona his anger has consumed him. He has made slaves out of sadhus! So he decides to perform a yajna and make a son that way. Kunti and her boys regroup in the forest. Drupad’s son emerges from the fire. But wait!!! Who else is in there???

Mahabharat Watch Party! Finishing with last episode of Season 7 and starting up Season 8. The Pandavas are back in the forest, and they are feeding all the sadhus that King Drupad has been abusing. They boys are helping cheer up Kunti. Then back over st Drupad’s place there’s this big yajna, a fire ceremony, that he’s doing to try to get himself a son…. And then… ! Cliffhanger!

Mahabharat Season 7 episodes 1-4. Duryodhan is not playing around, he’s a malignant narcissist with a penchant for revenge. Psychopath? Likely! Anyone care to diagnose him? Someone willing to unalive family members to get what he wants has to have some kind of mental illness. Luckily Arjuna has Krishna’s guidance- and we’re only about 1/4 through the whoooole story so let’s see how our heroes get out of this situation! by the way, anyone else have this theme music running through their head all day? 🎶🙏🪈👑

The place is in VARNAVAT! Sorry for the confusion… lol! Three other plot points you need to know. 1) Duryodhan lets Karna in on the plan and Karna is appalled! He tries to appeal to Duryodhan but no luck, Duryodhan basically says they have no choice- and since Karna swore loyalty to him he goes along with it reluctantly. And when he goes to say goodbye as the Pandavas leave for their “vacation” Karna looks at Kunti and CRIES! But he doesn’t say anything and Kunti still hasn’t told him the truth, she sees he’s upset but she doesn’t say anything. 2) before Arjuna leaves Dwarka Krishna tells him a story about Saraswati migrating the earth and tells Arjuna to bathe in the river and think about it. 3) Vidur is unsettled with this whole trip coming up so fast so he hires a spy to follow Karna and report back everything he says. And when Karna goes back home to see his adopted parents he says enough so that when the spy goes back to Vidur, Vidur is able to put it together and realize the Pandavas are in danger!
