🎶💛 Play, Connect, and Grow Together! 💛🎶

Join us at The Grove for a special Music, Movement & Sensory Play experience designed for little ones and their caregivers!

We'll begin with a brief, engaging discussion led by Rachel Bowers, MSSA, LISW-S, PMH-C, therapist and owner of Wollemi Counseling, exploring how play helps build secure attachment, emotional connection, and healthy development in young children. You'll leave with simple, practical ways to strengthen connection through everyday moments of play.

Then, get ready to sing, dance, move, and explore with Miss Michelle of Care for Kids! Through music, movement, rhythm, and sensory experiences, children will have opportunities to build coordination, creativity, confidence, and social-emotional skills—all while having fun alongside their favorite grown-up.

✨ Learn about the power of play
🎵 Enjoy interactive music and movement activities
🌈 Explore sensory-rich experiences
💞 Strengthen your connection with your child

Mindful Mamas is back!!

Next Topic--> Managing Task Overwhelm

Does your brain feel like it has 47 tabs open at all times?

The appointments, school forms, grocery lists, birthday gifts, laundry, meal planning, work responsibilities, and all the invisible mental load of motherhood can leave you feeling overwhelmed before the day even begins.

Join us for Mindful Mamas, where we'll focus on managing task overwhelm and creating a more compassionate, realistic approach to your never-ending to-do list.

Together, we'll explore:
-Why overwhelm happens
-How to prioritize what truly matters
-Strategies to quiet the mental clutter
- Ways to reduce the pressure of "doing it all"
- Mindfulness tools to help you stay grounded when life feels chaotic

This is a supportive, judgment-free space to connect with other moms who get it. You don't have to carry it all alone.

Excited to share that The Grove at Wollemi Counseling is offering a free support group for young women! Feeling lost or stuck in a quarter life crisis? Your 20s can feel beautiful, exciting, confusing, lonely, empowering, and overwhelming all at once. 🌿
If you’ve been questioning who you are, what you want, where you’re headed, or how to feel more confident and connected in your life — you are not alone.

Some moms are carrying an invisible mental load so heavy that they barely remember what it feels like to not be overwhelmed.

The planning. The worrying. The anticipating everyone’s needs. The guilt when you try to rest. The pressure to keep it all together while quietly feeling like you’re drowning underneath it all. 💛

At Wollemi Counseling, Mackenzie is the kind of therapist who gently helps moms slow down, reconnect with themselves, and feel deeply understood — not judged. She is thoughtful, endlessly curious, and truly committed to understanding each client’s unique experience. Whether that means researching resources, learning more about what you’re navigating, or helping you put words to feelings you’ve carried alone for a long time, she goes above and beyond for her clients.

She especially supports:
✨ Moms who look high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed underneath it all
✨ Moms who know everyone else’s needs but struggle to even identify their own
✨ Moms untangling people-pleasing, perfectionism, and “mom guilt” from their sense of self
✨ Moms grieving body and identity changes during pregnancy and postpartum

Her approach is gentle, affirming, compassionate, and deeply human — creating a space where you don’t have to perform, hold it all together, or minimize what you’re carrying.

If you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, second guessing everything about sleep, or wondering why nothing seems to be working for your family… you are not alone. 🤍

Join us at The Grove for a supportive and realistic workshop for parents of babies and young children led by Shaylei Smith of Nurtured NEO, a Nurture Neuroscience Practitioner trained in Dr. Greer Kirshenbaum’s The Nurture Revolution approach.
This 90-minute workshop blends infant sleep education with nervous-system-informed, relationship-centered neuroscience to help parents better understand what’s actually happening in their baby’s brain, body, and sleep patterns.
You’ll learn:
✨ What infant sleep is biologically designed to look like
✨ Why your baby may struggle with sleep, settling, or separation
✨ How stress and overstimulation impact both babies and parents
✨ Gentle, practical ways to support sleep and connection
✨ Strategies that can help your whole family get more rest while feeling more confident and grounded

This workshop is for tired parents looking for realistic support, evidence-informed guidance, and reassurance that you are not failing.
Whether you’re pregnant, in the newborn stage, or navigating sleep with a toddler, you are welcome here. 🤍
