The good news? His wonderful owner acted quickly and brought him in after he ingested peach pits. We induced vomiting and recovered 3 peach pits, helping prevent a potentially dangerous intestinal obstruction.

Proper exercise plays a vital role in pet health, but inappropriate exercise can lead to serious injury or, as in heat stroke, life-threatening illness.

Pets love to play and don’t always know their limits, so it’s up to you to set firm boundaries on what’s safe and what’s not. This includes AVOIDING:

🚫 Exercise during inclement or extreme weather (including heat)
🚫 Slippery surfaces
🚫 Overexertion (stop before your pet gets tired)
🚫 “Weekend warrior” syndrome (moderate, consistent exercise is best)

🐾❤️ Tucker's Journey & A Special Shoutout to Kelsie ❤️🐾
Some patients leave paw prints on our hearts, and Tucker is certainly one of them. After deciding to snack on something he shouldn't have, Tucker spent several days with us recovering and getting the care he needed to feel better. While we were focused on helping him heal, Tucker quickly became part of our family. 🐶💙
During his stay, he won over our team with his sweet personality, resilient spirit, and endless charm. Seeing him feeling better each day was the highlight of ours.

Not only is Kelsie an exceptional technician who provides compassionate care to our patients every day, but she's also one of our resident photographers. 📸✨ She has a special gift for capturing the moments that make us smile and creating memories we'll cherish long after our patients head home.
