Since we have been unable to have contact with the individual who trespassed into a restricted area and posted videos yesterday, I would like to clarify the situation regarding the headstones in the drainage ditch.
The drainage ditch has been a part of the cemetery since it was originally built. Over the past 29 years, we have assisted many families with headstones. Occasionally, stones arrive incorrectly sandblasted, are damaged during shipping, or families decide to replace an older stone. In these instances, we must dispose of the original stones. Rather than moving them off-site, we chose to recycle them on our property within the drainage ditch out of respect for the names and information engraved on them.
We value every customer and treat everyone with the utmost respect and dignity. I hope this clarifies the situation and addresses any concerns.
If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 864-647-0679.
Sincerely,
Trey Sandifer
