Exceptional care from an outstanding team!
We are beyond grateful to the entire team at Urban Veterinary Associates for the incredible care they gave our dog, Uma. From her initial mast cell tumor diagnosis to her recent splenectomy, every single person we interacted with showed compassion, professionalism, and true dedication.
Dr. Rumpf performed Uma’s first surgery and gave us hope with a successful removal and clean margins. Dr. Torok led her second surgery — a splenectomy — and we couldn’t have asked for a more skilled and thoughtful surgeon. She found and safely removed multiple masses, which thankfully turned out to be benign. We also saw Dr. Novak during this journey, and she was equally kind, informative, and supportive.
The nurses and staff are phenomenal. Brenda, Uma’s nurse for both of her surgeries, went above and beyond and made us feel completely at ease. Katrina was the very first nurse we met at our initial visit and helped us feel immediately welcomed and cared for. And at the front desk, Charita has been amazing — always so kind and helpful with check-ins, check-outs, and answering questions along the way.
Everyone from the doctors to the techs to the support staff truly cares, and it shows in every interaction. We’re so thankful to have found Urban Vets and are staying with them long-term. They’ve helped our girl through a scary time, and we trust them completely.
