Our beautiful Mariana Faith made her arrival June 22 at 6:34 pm. Shes 21 inches long and weighs 7lb 4oz. 💞😍
She was one day past her due date, but we are so blessed she’s finally here! She’s such a sweet bundle of joy. we are so in love with her we are truly blessed. It still doesn’t feel real that we have two children and that we are starting all over again and this time with a girl! I love our growing family and I wouldn’t change a thing about our experience. Alex is truly 1 in a million and I couldn’t be more grateful that I have him as my lifelong partner. Without him by my side throughout this special day would’ve been impossible!! I also had the best experience having a doula by my side and to guide me through my pregnancy and labor, without your guidance and support I wouldn’t have gotten through this as strong as I did! You’re amazing Renee Evon Richardson Aspiring Bliss Doula Service thank you so much!

Mommy and daddy love you so much MariđŸ„čđŸ„°đŸ’•đŸŠ‹

We need to eliminate the word 'allowed' when it comes to birthing mamas.

You're a grown ass woman so no, you don’t need to be “allowed” to eat, move, stand, or hold your baby during birth.

But for far too many women, that’s exactly how it feels. They are told:

⚠They can’t eat or drink anything but ice chips.
⚠To stay in bed, hooked to monitors.
⚠They can’t use the tub or shower.
⚠They must push lying on their back, legs in stirrups.
⚠Their partner has to leave during exams.
⚠They can’t delay cord clamping or newborn care.
⚠Photos or videos aren’t allowed.

This isn’t care. It’s control.
You are not a passenger in your birth.

Your body. Your baby. Your birth. You deserve respect, autonomy, and evidence-based support.

Most of these “rules” aren’t about safety. They’re about outdated protocols, convenience, and liability fears. Here’s what evidence actually shows:

🍎 Eating and drinking in labor is safe for most women—and fuels stamina.
đŸš¶â€â™€ïž Moving, walking, using the tub (if your water isn't broken) or shower, and choosing your position can shorten labor and reduce interventions.
đŸ€± Immediate skin-to-skin and delaying newborn care improve outcomes for both of you.
📾 Photos and videos? Your birth is your sacred story.

Birth is not something to be managed. It’s a rite of passage. You don’t need permission to make informed choices—you need support to stand fiercely in them.

That’s why I created MamaPathway—a radical, compassionate birth course to prepare you for birth, protect your autonomy, and step into motherhood with unshakeable confidence.

We cover what your OB should teach you but rarely does:

🌿 Nourishing your body and microbiome
🌿 Your rights and options in the hospital
🌿 How to reduce interventions in labor and recover powerfully postpartum

Birth is not something that should happen to you. It’s something you get to do, your way, with respect for your preferences.

💭 Did you experience these restrictions—or were you supported in your choices? Share below. Your story can empower another mama today.

🌾 Birth “Rules” You Can Totally Break 🌾
(Because birth is not a test
and you don’t get graded for it 😉)

Here are 18 things you thought you had to do — but actually, you really don’t:

1ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to give birth on your back.
Hospitals love it, but your body doesn’t. There are MUCH better positions!

2ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to push just because someone tells you to.
Your natural urge-to-push is the smartest guide you have.

3ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to stay stuck in bed.
Movement = progress + less pain. Yes, even with an epidural!

4ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to accept every cervical check.
They’re optional. Truly.

5ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to be continuously monitored.
For most low-risk births, intermittent monitoring is totally safe — and gives you freedom.

6ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to get induced just because you hit 40 weeks.
Many babies simply cook a little longer
 like a good soup 😄

7ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to match the hospital’s “timeline.”
Your labor isn’t wrong if it’s slow.

8ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to say “yes” right away.
Pause. Breathe. Ask. You decide.

9ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to push nonstop for hours.
Resting, changing positions, and waiting for the fetal ejection reflex works wonders.

🔟 You don’t have to be separated from your baby.
Immediate skin-to-skin is evidence-based and magical.

1ïžâƒŁ1ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to let visitors in right after birth.
“We need privacy now” is a perfectly valid choice.

1ïžâƒŁ2ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to labor under bright lights.
Dim, cozy, oxytocin-friendly lighting is your friend.

1ïžâƒŁ3ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to stay quiet.
Birth noises? Totally normal and super helpful.

1ïžâƒŁ4ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to stay in the same room.
Walk, shower, birth ball — movement matters!

1ïžâƒŁ5ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to stop eating or drinking.
Most birthing people can safely do both.

1ïžâƒŁ6ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to get an IV “just in case.”
A saline lock + oral hydration is often enough.

1ïžâƒŁ7ïžâƒŁ You don’t have to lie flat with an epidural.
You can switch sides, sit up, and use the peanut ball.

1ïžâƒŁ8ïžâƒŁ And finally: you never have to apologize for advocating for yourself.
Your body. Your baby. Your birth. 💛

✹ If you want more of these “birth freedom” insights, join me tonight at 8 PM for Day 2 of our gentle 3-day experience!
Oxitocin, calm, and a little humor included. 💕

🌾 SzĂŒlĂ©si “szabĂĄlyok”, amiket NYUGODTAN megszeghetsz! 🌾

A tested sajĂĄt kĂ©sztetĂ©se a leghatĂ©konyabb “nyomĂĄsi stratĂ©gia”.

3ïžâƒŁ Nem kell az ĂĄgyhoz ragadnod.
MozgĂĄs = gyorsabb tĂĄgulĂĄs + kevesebb fĂĄjdalom. Igen, epidurĂĄllal is!

4ïžâƒŁ Nem kötelezƑ a folyamatos mĂ©hszĂĄjvizsgĂĄlat.
Opcionålis. Igen, tényleg.

5ïžâƒŁ Nem kell folyamatosan monitorozni.
Alacsony rizikĂłnĂĄl az idƑszakos ellenƑrzĂ©s bƑven elĂ©g — Ă©s te szabadon mozoghatsz.

6ïžâƒŁ 40 hĂ©t utĂĄn sem kötelezƑ azonnal indĂtani a szĂŒlĂ©st.
Sok baba egyszerƱen lassabban kĂ©szĂŒl el
 mint egy jĂł leves. 😄

7ïžâƒŁ Nem kell a kĂłrhĂĄzi „órĂĄhoz” igazodnod.
A te vajĂșdĂĄsod tempĂłja normĂĄlis.

A “most szeretnĂ©nk kettesben maradni” teljesen okĂ©.

A legtöbb vajĂșdĂł nƑ ehet Ă©s ihat biztonsĂĄgosan.

A te tested. A te babĂĄd. A te szĂŒlĂ©sed. ❀

✹ Ha szeretnĂ©l mĂ©g több ilyen “szĂŒlĂ©sfelszabadĂtó” tudĂĄst, ma este 8-kor vĂĄrlak a LIVE-ban!
Oxitocin, nyugalom, humor — minden lesz. Jössz? 💕
