“I am from Illinois & when my son started experiencing sudden onset OCD, separation anxiety, & temper tantrums we suspected PANDAS. I knew I wanted the best of the best for my son so we flew to Dr. T. He completed a thorough evaluation with extensive lab work in his office.
The phlebotomist in office is amazing & made my son feel so comfortable prior to his blood draw. We also decided to complete genetic testing so my husband & I completed lab work as well. Given results of the tests, Dr. T started my son on antibiotics & we saw a quick improvement.
Throughout treatment, Dr. T was quick to answer emails & modified treatment as needed. He listened to me & genuinely wanted to help my son & make things as easy as possible for us as parents living so far from NJ.
When we decided it was time for IVIG, we met with him via zoom & he explained the whole process. He provided us with a whole written protocol. He is VERY willing to work with insurance for coverage.
Given our distance from NJ, he offered to send his treatment plan to a children’s hospital closer to home. We are in the process of setting up IVIG through a pediatric infusion center. Dr. T is there to help & he’s proven it multiple times
throughout this “journey.”
Last but certainly not least, Mary, the receptionist has been amazing. I had an absolute nightmare of an experience with a receptionist from a pandas clinic in Chicago, so it was such a relief to talk to someone that follows through on everything that is requested of her. She is prompt & will return every call/email. She has made this process so much easier! When asked to send out referral to the children’s hospital closer to home, it was sent that day!
