We are incredibly grateful to the Children’s Trust Fund of Alabama for awarding Butterfly Bridge Children’s Advocacy Center a grant to support public awareness and training in our community!

One of our main initiatives at Butterfly Bridge is EDUCATE—because we believe knowledge is one of our most powerful tools for prevention. Through community education, professional training, and public awareness, we work to equip adults with the knowledge and confidence to recognize the signs of child abuse, understand their role in prevention, and know how to respond when a child needs help.

Every training. Every conversation. Every person who learns how to recognize and respond to abuse brings us one step closer to a community where children are safe, supported, and protected.

We’re often so busy checking on everyone else that we forget to check in with ourselves.

Self-care isn’t always a spa day or a weekend away. Sometimes, it’s the small things that help our minds and bodies reset:

Say hello to Gallant, Zurg & Justin — our amazing Canine for Companions facility dogs! 🐕✨
These three have an incredibly important job: helping bring comfort, calm, and a little bit of joy to the children and families we serve. Sometimes, a child may not know what to say or how to express what they’re feeling… but a furry friend who simply sits beside them can make all the difference. 🥹💙
From offering a comforting presence during difficult moments to providing a much-needed smile, these pups remind our children that they are safe, supported, and not alone.
They may have four paws, wagging tails, and lots of personality—but the impact they make is HUGE. 🐾
