Most people don’t think acupuncture when suffering from with sinus congestion.

They think:
“Sinuses = allergy meds.”
“Or I just have to wait it out.”

But sinus pressure isn’t only about your sinuses.

It’s often about:
• circulation in the face
• drainage pathways
• nervous system tension
• inflammation staying “switched on” longer than it should

That’s why simple acupressure points (like the ones Dr. Heather shows in this video) can sometimes help your body start clearing pressure naturally.

Not by forcing relief.

By improving how your body regulates itself.

For a lot of people, the real win isn’t just breathing better today.

It’s understanding they’re not stuck relying on medication every time symptoms show up.

There are ways to support your system differently.

If sinus congestion is something you deal with every year, acupuncture is one option we often use to help people feel clearer, calmer, and more in control of their body again.

If you’re curious how we approach this long-term, we’re always happy to share more.

There are a few non-negotiables when it comes to working with a sports chiropractor.
And if they’re missing, treatment usually turns into short-term relief instead of long-term progress.
At minimum, your care should include:
1️⃣ A clear explanation of what’s actually driving the problem
We don’t just treat where it hurts.
We look at what’s causing the issue so it stops coming back.
2️⃣ A plan: Not random visits based on flare-ups
Progress happens when care has direction and guidance.
3️⃣ Strength and movement work during sessions and between sessions
Bodies don’t change from passive treatment alone.
Real progress happens when you actively build strength and control.
4️⃣ Progressions over time
The goal isn’t staying in treatment forever.
The goal is building a plan that grows with you as your mobility, strength, and confidence improve.
5️⃣ A return-to-activity strategy
Whether that’s lifting, running, golf, CrossFit, or keeping up with your kids, your rehab plan should help you get back to what matters most to you.
Sports chiropractic isn’t about chasing pain.
It’s about building a body you can rely on again.
If your current care doesn’t include a clear plan forward, it may be missing the piece that creates long-term change.
Does your treatment feel structured and proactive or reactive right now?

You don’t need hours in the gym to take care of your body.

Small movement breaks throughout the day, sometimes called exercise snacks can make a real difference in how your body feels now and how it holds up long-term.

Try simple swaps like:
• Taking the stairs instead of the elevator
• Breaking up long periods of sitting to wake up your glutes and support your low back
• Using long hallways for a few walking lunges or squats

These small moments of movement help your body stay strong, responsive, and confident especially if most of your day is spent sitting.

It’s not about doing everything perfectly.

It’s about building a body that keeps working for you over time.

If you’ve noticed your back getting stiff after long days at a desk, this is often one of the easiest places to start.

7 years ago this office looked very different.

Different walls.
Different equipment.
A lot fewer patients.
And a big vision for what healthcare in Weymouth could look like.

From day one, the goal was never just to help people feel better for a few days.

It was to build a place where people could finally understand why their body was hurting and what to do about it long-term.

Over the past 7 years, we’ve had the privilege of working with so many incredible people in this community; parents who wanted to keep up with their kids, runners trying to stay on the road, athletes working back from injuries, and adults who simply didn’t want to feel like their body was slowing them down.

Watching people regain confidence in how they move and seeing how we can impact their lives in a positive way has been the most rewarding part of all of it.

To everyone who trusted us, referred friends and family, shared our posts, or walked through our doors even once thank you. Truly.

Weymouth has supported us from the beginning, and we’re grateful every single day to be part of this community and look forward to being part of it for many more years.

Squats aren’t just an exercise. They’re a life skill.

If squatting starts to feel stiff, painful, or something you avoid… that’s usually the first sign your body is losing capacity — not just flexibility.

This month we’re breaking down how to keep squatting strong, confident, and available for decades.

Because the goal isn’t to stop squatting.

It’s to make sure your body never loses the ability to do it. 💪

Bottle feeding and breastfeeding shouldn’t leave you in pain.

A lot of moms assume neck tension, upper back tightness, wrist soreness, or shoulder discomfort are just part of the newborn phase, but most of the time, it’s positioning that’s the issue.

Small setup changes can make a big difference:
• supporting your arms instead of holding tension
• bringing baby to you (not you to baby)
• staying stacked instead of rounded forward
• switching sides regularly

These aren’t just comfort tips; They help protect your body while it’s already adapting to pregnancy, delivery, sleep changes, and recovery.

The goal isn’t to “push through it.”

It’s to build confidence in how your body moves during this season of life so feeding your baby feels sustainable, not stressful.

Because postpartum recovery isn’t about getting back to normal, it’s about building a body that supports you through what comes next. 🤍

If feeding positions have been bothering your neck, back, or wrists, you’re not alone and there are simple ways we can help.

5 home recovery tools that help…when you use them the right way

Most people don’t struggle because they’re weak.

They struggle because they aren’t stable…yet.

When your hips don’t control movement well:
• your low back works overtime
• your knees take extra stress
• and workouts feel harder than they should

Hip stability is what lets strength stick.

If you’re getting active again right now, this is one of the smartest places to start.

Not because it’s flashy.

Because it builds the foundation that keeps you progressing instead of restarting.

We help people stop cycling short-term fixes and build bodies that stay strong for the long run.

His ankle felt completely normal inside the office.

But the restriction showed up the second he pushed on his skateboard.

That’s the difference between treating based on symptoms and treating based on performance.

So we grabbed some and headed outside to see what his ankle actually needed under real load.

Because if the problem only shows up during activity, it should be assessed during activity.

Movement over symptoms, that’s what makes us different
