Our next Virtual Childbirth Preparation class will be held in two sessions and meets Tuesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 16 from 6 to 9:15 p.m.

This informative course helps prepare new parents for the labor and birth process as well as post-partum recovery. Learn breathing and relaxation techniques and guided imagery exercises for labor, as well as information about breastfeeding and newborn care.

Partners are welcome and encouraged to attend the classes but do not need to register.

Expecting a baby? South Shore Health's Newborn Essentials class can help prepare you to care for your newborn during the first six weeks after birth.

Our informative, hands-on class teaches new parents diapering basics, umbilical cord care, and proper infant positioning, as well as ways to comfort your crying baby, guidelines for safe infant sleep and car seat safety essentials.

Perfect for parents and caregivers, the course teaches CPR and choking relief for infants and children along with other safety topics, like baby proofing your home, poison prevention and proper car seat use.
