A little food for thought from a therapist, mom, woman, pleasure seeker & enthusiast!

💃I’m grateful I make an effort to nurture my own needs even when it can be a little tricky, and I remind myself that balance is key, and I don’t have to do everything and be everything in order to feel fulfilled.

My patient shared this after I checked on her a few hours post a Brainspotting session. The next morning the exhaustion lifted and she reported still feeling better than she had in a long time.

🌾When you actually take the time to mindfully process emotional content or trauma, it turns out you actually integrate the material into your life story while releasing the distressful elements.

🌾You feel lighter and more at ease due to processing out the burdensome aspects of the memories you carried.

🌾It isn’t magic, it’s just your own brain and body releasing hyper-vigilance and effectively processing what we know for adaptive human beings is often difficult to fully process due to the nature of life’s demands on us to keep on going and providing.

🌾If you’re curious about Brainspotting, I’m happy to help, or you can find a provider near you🫶🧠🥰.

Practicing gratitude for a moment: for a good day, beautiful weather, sunshine on my face, delicious lunch with a sweet person, for my body’s ability to move in various ways that brings me health and joy…

🌾There will be a time when I’m down and struggling as we all do, so absorbing these mindful grateful moments feels like a gift to myself now…something to remind me that life can feel good and sweet too. Let’s keep collecting joy wherever we can! 🥰🙏

Are You Living for Others? Want to better understand people pleasing and how to stop?

🌾You say yes when you mean no. You apologize before anyone is even clearly upset. You scan a room and hyperfocus on any shift in mood, and you feel the need to lift it. Sound familiar?

🌾Many can relate. Read my full blog on people pleasing in my link in bio 🫶 ~ Bozhena

Brainspotting is just an effective way to access and release emotional content or trauma that we all hold in various forms and intensity.

🌾It’s really just a way to essentially “update the software” in your brain and remind you that you’re actually safe and can regulate your own nervous system 🧠😌.

🌾It’s safe and intuitive.

🌾It offers immediate relief as the regulates in one session, and long-term healing depending on the issue or
