🦋 As we age, we don’t need a hundred different wellness trends.

We need:
✔️ Strength training
✔️ Balance training
✔️ Brain training
✔️ Stress management

(And maybe a little stretching too.)

Tai Chi checks every one of those boxes.

It builds strength, improves balance, challenges the brain, and calms the nervous system, all in a single practice.

That’s why more and more people are discovering Tai Chi isn’t just exercise. It’s a longevity practice.

🦋 If you’ve been curious about Tai Chi, this might be your sign to give it a try. Online or in person in western suburbs of Chicago.

Hey, check out my June schedule!
Most of my programs are running nicely at this point, more programs will open in July after my summer vacation.

Because all my evening programs are sold out, I added one more evening program to my schedule. It will be in Downers Grove through DG Park District on Tuesdays at 7:30pm. Only few spots left, so if you’re considering register now.

If you want to try my class, join me on June 13th at in Aurora! I’ve been teaching this workshop at this beautiful studio for several years now, and it’s always one of my favorite events. The atmosphere is amazing, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to experience how Tai Chi/Qigong can help you relax, recharge, and feel more connected to your body.

One more special event is coming up, Tai Chi Sword Immersion. End of June or beginning of July, still deciding. This one will be truly special. I can’t wait to share more.

🦋 Stress sits behind more disease than most people realize.
Burnout, anxiety, poor sleep, tension, high blood pressure, digestive issues… the nervous system carries it all.

That’s why Tai Chi is such a powerful practice for busy professionals.

You don’t need an hour.
Sometimes just 2 minutes of mindful movement and breathing can shift your nervous system out of stress mode and help your body reset.

Of course, it takes a little learning at first. You come to class, learn the movements, practice a bit at home. But honestly, even the learning process feels calming.

In a world that constantly pushes us to go faster, Tai Chi teaches your body how to slow down.

🦋 New Tai Chi classes will start soon in Downers Grove /Tuesdays at 7:30pm/ and Lombard /Wednesdays at 9:30am/. Ask me about my online Tai Chi classes starting back in August.

🦋 Tai Chi Walking may be one of the best forms of balance training because it teaches you how to consciously shift weight, stabilize on one leg, and move with awareness.

Many people improve balance faster with Tai Chi Walking /vs.Tai Chi/ because it removes the complexity of memorizing a whole form.

Tai Chi Walking may actually be the better starting tool, but traditional Tai Chi has advantages too.

Tai Chi goes beyond balance training by teaching whole-body integration - connecting movement, posture, breath, awareness, and coordination into one fluid system.
Instead of training isolated muscles, it trains the entire body and nervous system to work together.

🦋 I teach both, Tai Chi and Tai Chi Walking online and in person. If you struggle with balance consider it. It’s so important to have a good balance as we age! Check my summer schedule and links in my Bio.

Tai Chi Cloudy Hands - this is my favorite tool to calm down and manage stress. Works like magic. Every single time. Give it a try!

Honestly, I don’t remember when was the last time I had to use Cloudy Hands to calm down. Now, as I practice Tai Chi every day, I am super calm. Feels like I finally rewired my brain…

🦋 There’s something magical about practicing Tai Chi together.

We move together.
We breathe together.
We share energy together.

Energy doesn’t split in a group practice… it multiplies.

And in that quiet moment after the Form ends - standing still, smiling, fully present - you can feel it.
Calm. Connection. Aliveness. Pure Joy.

That feeling is hard to explain… but once you experience it, you understand why people keep coming back.

Come and join us!

My unique 4-weeks Tai Chi Walking program will start tomorrow at noon in Naperville. This is a hybrid class, you can easily join us during your lunch break /this class is 30-40 minutes/.

This class is designed for people with balance issues, neurological issues /Parkinson’s, MS, tremors/, joint pain or recovering from injuries or surgeries. Great workout for the legs and core.

Find the links for in person or inline class in my Bio.

There’s a moment in class when someone says:
“I didn’t expect this to feel so… powerful.”

Because from the outside, Tai Chi doesn’t look like much.
It’s slow. Quiet. Gentle.

But inside the body, a lot is happening.

Research shows Tai Chi can help with balance, heart health, joint pain, anxiety, even neurological conditions like Parkinson’s. Not because it pushes harder - but because it works smarter.

It trains your nervous system.
Improves circulation.
Reconnects breath with movement.

And maybe most importantly…
it’s something people can actually stick with.

No burnout. No intimidation. No “all or nothing.”

Just small, consistent practice that adds up over time.

I see it every day—people moving better, feeling calmer, sleeping deeper, and slowly getting their energy back.

Come and experience by yourself. Most of my programs are running /and sold out/ at this point, but I am opening new evening program in Downers Grove in June. Tuesdays at 7:30pm. If the balance is concern, there are few spots left for my Tai Chi Walking class in Naperville and online that starts on this Tuesday at noon. Links in my Bio.
