🔆 Today, the Residents celebrated their last day of the Garden Program for the 2026 season! 🌸

Throughout the season, Residents helped grow fresh produce and beautiful flowers while enjoying garden lessons covering topics from mammals, prairies, hummingbirds, root b**r, trees, dragonflies, garden ornamentation, succulents, and so much more! 🌳 🐦 🌵

We also had plenty of fun with other activities including garden bingo, Wheel of Fortune, and guest speakers that kept everyone learning and laughing. 🍄 🐝

A very special thank you to our incredible Master Gardeners and Volunteers who share their time, knowledge, creativity, and passion with the Residents! 🌟❣

We are so grateful for another wonderful Garden Program season and can't wait for next year! 🦋 🌱 🌼

Students from Wheaton North High School’s Interact Club have been volunteering alongside Wheaton Rotary members at the DuPage Care Center, helping make bingo night a fun evening for the residents.

We’re there every third Wednesday of the month, and the residents really look forward to it. It’s a chance to play a few games, spend time together, and enjoy some good company. It really is a great way to brighten both their day and your own.

Thank you to the students and all our volunteers who make these evenings possible!

Our next bingo night is Wednesday, September 16. If you’d like to join us sometime, extra helping hands are always welcome—just send us a message.

Last week, the Residents enjoyed a beautiful night cheering on the Kane County Cougars! 🐾 The night came to a perfect close with a Cougars win and a spectacular firework show! 🎇

Residents are getting into the Fourth of July spirit by designing their own patriotic hats! Staff and Volunteeers are also joining in on the fun and showing off their festive spirit! ❤️🤍💙
