🎒 Welcome back, Neah-Kah-Nie students and staff!

The NKN Student Health & Wellness Center is back for the 2026–27 school year and available to support students and district staff with convenient medical and behavioral health services.

Services include routine and preventive care, sick visits, sports physicals, immunizations, health screenings, behavioral health counseling and more.

Current hours:

📍 Wednesday & Thursday
Medical Services: 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Behavioral Health: 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
Closed for lunch: 12:30–1:30 p.m.

📍 Friday Behavioral Health Outreach
Garibaldi Grade School: 8:30–11:30 a.m.
Nehalem Elementary School: 1:00–4:00 p.m.

The center is located inside Neah-Kah-Nie High School and is available to NKN students and district staff. Visit our website to learn more about services and eligibility.

What a great turn out we had at this year's Outdoor Movie Night and Resource Fair Event in Tillamook! We were joined by several organizations who shared information about the many services available in our community.

We’re pleased to welcome Anita Jenkins, DNP, FNP-BC, to the Nehalem Bay Health Center & Pharmacy Primary Care team!

Anita is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner providing care for patients across the lifespan. She offers routine and preventive care, sick visits, management of chronic conditions, and treatment for common illnesses and injuries.

Anita brings 10 years of nursing experience in stroke rehabilitation, orthopedics and behavioral health to her role as a nurse practitioner. She earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice-Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Baylor University.

Anita believes good care begins with listening. She values clear, straightforward communication and working together with patients to create practical care plans that support their individual health needs and goals.

Outside of work, Anita enjoys birdwatching, crocheting and spending time with her family.

Anita will begin seeing patients August 17.

Just a heads up — our pharmacy will be closed tomorrow, Friday, July 17, for continued restoration work.

If you need a prescription, please plan to pick it up today. All other services remain open tomorrow as usual.

Reminder: Our pharmacy will be closed this Friday, July 10, for continued restoration work.

We're almost there! Please plan ahead and pick up any needed prescriptions before Friday. Thanks so much for your patience as we get closer to the finish line. 💊

P.S. If all goes well, we anticipate one more pharmacy closure on Friday, July 17, to wrap up the remaining work.

UPDATE | May 18, 2026

Things are looking up! 🌟

Drying progress over the weekend has been significant. ServPro is monitoring all affected areas today and equipment is beginning to come out as areas reach their drying goals.

Pharmacy and dental are open at regular hours. Medical appointments are resuming, though we are still operating at limited capacity as repairs continue. We appreciate your patience as we work through the final stages of recovery.
