Meet Kayla, LPN at Peterson Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center.

Kayla began her healthcare journey in 2013 and joined Peterson in 2022 as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Through hard work and determination, she advanced to Scheduler and recently achieved one of her biggest goals - becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) after completing nursing school and passing the NCLEX.

💙 "Making people smile" is what Kayla enjoys most about her job, and it's her residents on Wing 3 who keep her coming back each day.

Her advice for anyone considering a career in long-term care:

"Put your heart into it. Make someone smile daily. Sometimes you're all that they have."
