The rededication of the Sister Rose Thering Garden was a meaningful afternoon of reflection and celebration honoring Sister Rose's lasting legacy. Harold Colton-Max, CEO of The Jewish Community Housing Corporation, shared the story of Sister Rose's time at Lester and the privilege of having her as a member of the community. The event brought together community partners and supporters whose contributions helped commemorate her life, dedication, and impact on Jewish-Christian relations and Holocaust education.

The Hanover Township's annual Memorial Day Parade features a traditional route from Whippany Park High School to the American Legion Post 155. This event brings together local veterans, first responders, Scout troops, and municipal officials to honor fallen service members with a march and concluding ceremony.
