💙 No One Walks Alone 💙

Every Great Journey Has a Team.

Hospice care is about so much more than one person or one role—it takes an entire team working together with one shared purpose: caring for patients and the people who love them.

From our nurses and CNAs providing hands-on comfort, to our PCRs, social workers and chaplains offering guidance and support, every member of the hospice team plays an important part. Our physicians, volunteers, bereavement specialists, and office staff each bring their own gifts to ensure patients and families feel supported throughout every step of the journey.

Behind every patient is a compassionate team working together to provide comfort, dignity, and support for the entire family.

Different roles. One purpose. One team. 💙
Because in hospice, no one should ever have to walk the journey alone.

📖 Lessons from Life: Wisdom Worth Sharing

Some of life’s greatest teachers are the people we have the privilege of serving. Patients, caregivers, volunteers, and staff often share words of wisdom that stay with us long after the conversation ends.

“Take more pictures.”

“Never leave kind words unsaid.”

“Family is life’s greatest blessing.”

“Joy is often found in the simplest moments.”

With permission, we invite you to share the meaningful words that have encouraged, inspired, or guided you through life.

Planning ahead is one of the greatest gifts you can give yourself and your family. 💙

We are proud to offer the Five Wishes advance care planning booklet FREE to members of our community. Written in simple, everyday language, Five Wishes helps adults document how they want to be cared for and guides important conversations about personal, emotional, spiritual, and medical wishes.

Having your wishes in writing can bring peace of mind, reduce uncertainty, and help your loved ones feel confident honoring your choices.

If you would like a free copy of Five Wishes, contact the local branch serving your area. We would be honored to provide this valuable resource and help you begin the conversation.

✏️ Learning to Listen

Listening Changes Everything

Sometimes the most meaningful care begins by simply listening.
Today, we recognize our hospice social workers, who take the time to hear each patient’s story, understand their wishes, and support the unique needs of every family. Through compassionate conversations and a caring presence, they help patients and loved ones feel heard, valued, and never alone.
Because when we truly listen, we can provide care that honors what matters most. 💙

📚 Lesson in Compassion

Compassion Is Always in Session

The greatest lesson we can teach isn’t found in a textbook—it’s found in compassion.
Today, we recognize our Nurses who bring comfort and kindness to every visit. Every smile, every conversation, and every caring moment reminds our patients and families that they are never alone.

Thank you to those who lead with compassion each day and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. 💙

🍎 Welcome to a New Season

Every Chapter Matters
As students begin a new school year, we’re reminded that life is filled with seasons of change. Through every transition, Hospice Home Care is here to help patients and families navigate each chapter with dignity, comfort, and compassionate care.

Learning about hospice before it is needed can help families feel more informed, prepared, and supported when the time comes.

🚨 Changes are coming to ARHOME — and volunteering with Hospice Home Care can be a meaningful way to help meet required community engagement hours. 🚨

ARHOME’s Community Engagement and Work Requirement is currently in a soft launch, with no penalties in place at this time. Starting Jan. 1, healthy adults ages 19–64 may need to work, volunteer, attend school, or combine activities for 80 hours per month unless exempt.

Hospice volunteers make a real difference by offering companionship, comfort, and support to patients and families during a meaningful season of life. Your time matters — and your service can count.

Don’t wait until benefits are at risk. Start building your volunteer hours now while serving your community with purpose.
