A huge thank you to everyone who joined us for our Hot Dogs & Hot Rods event today! We loved seeing so many smiling faces, enjoying delicious hot dogs, and admiring the beautiful classic cars from White Hall Drag-O-Way Classic Cars.
A special thank you to everyone who brought their amazing vehicles and helped make this event so memorable. Your support and community spirit mean so much to our residents, staff, and families.

🌟 Discharge Success Story: Mr. Fryman 🌟
In just two short weeks, Mr. Fryman made incredible progress during his rehabilitation journey at EverVella of White Hall!
After being admitted following a fall that resulted in a fracture and a left hip replacement, Mr. Fryman required moderate assistance for bed mobility, maximum assistance to stand and transfer, could walk only 10 feet with maximum assistance, and needed moderate assistance with activities of daily living.
Through his hard work and determination, along with the dedication of our therapy and nursing teams, Mr. Fryman achieved an outstanding recovery. At discharge, he was independent with mobility and daily activities, able to walk 200 feet independently, and could safely navigate stairs, allowing him to return home with confidence.
When asked about his stay, Mr. Fryman shared: "I came here for rehab services and nursing care. The facility provided excellent, friendly staff who were respectful, offered quality nursing care, and I would recommend their services to anybody."
Congratulations, Mr. Fryman! We are honored to have been part of your recovery and wish you continued health and success as you return home. 💙🏡

🌟 Discharge Success Story: Ms. Dugger 🌟
Congratulations to Ms. Dugger on her incredible progress during her 59-day rehabilitation journey at EverVella of White Hall!
Ms. Dugger was admitted following a diagnosis of pneumonia and a lumbar fracture. Upon admission, she required moderate assistance with bed mobility, transfers, and standing. She was only able to walk 20 feet and was unable to complete the 30-second sit-to-stand test, indicating significant weakness and an increased risk for falls.
Through her determination and the support of our dedicated therapy and nursing teams, Ms. Dugger made remarkable progress. At discharge, she is now independent with bed mobility and transfers, can walk 150 feet independently, and completed 8 repetitions on the 30-second sit-to-stand test, demonstrating improved strength and a reduced risk for falls.
We are so proud of everything Ms. Dugger accomplished and wish her continued health, strength, and success as she returns home. Thank you for allowing EverVella of White Hall to be part of your recovery journey! 💙🏡

🎉 Discharge Success Story: Mr. Mayner 🎉
After a 70-day stay at EverVella of White Hall, we're excited to celebrate Mr. Mayner's incredible recovery!
Mr. Mayner was admitted to our rehabilitation program following a diagnosis of pneumonia. Upon admission, he required moderate assistance with bed mobility, sit-to-stand transfers, and transferring between surfaces. He was only able to walk 15 feet, was unable to propel his wheelchair independently, and experienced significant weakness. He also needed moderate assistance with dressing, bathing, and toileting.
Through hard work, determination, and the support of our dedicated therapy and nursing teams, Mr. Mayner made remarkable progress. By discharge, he had regained his strength and endurance and returned to his prior level of function. He is now able to:
Walk 150 feet
Independently get in and out of bed
Independently perform sit-to-stand and surface transfers
Independently propel and use his wheelchair
Complete dressing, bathing, and toileting with only supervision and setup assistance
We are so proud of everything Mr. Mayner accomplished during his stay and are thrilled he is returning home with his wife. We wish him continued health, happiness, and success as he enjoys being back where he belongs. Congratulations, Mr. Mayner! 💙🏡

🏓🍬 Our Residents Put a Sweet Twist on Beer Pong! 🍬🏓
Who says beer pong is just for parties? At EverVella of White Hall, we gave this classic game a fun, resident-friendly makeover—no beer required! Instead, our cups were filled with delicious treats, making every successful toss a sweet reward.
Laughter, friendly competition, and plenty of smiles filled the room as residents tested their aim and cheered each other on. Activities like these help promote hand-eye coordination, social interaction, and most importantly, lots of fun!

🌟 Rehab Success Story: Congratulations, Melvin! 🌟
When Melvin arrived at EverVella of White Hall, he faced significant challenges after suffering a broken right leg. He was non-weight bearing, experienced increased pain in his leg and arms, had cognitive difficulties, required maximum assistance for bed mobility and transfers, was unable to walk, and needed help with dressing and toileting.
After just 39 days of hard work, determination, and support from our dedicated rehabilitation team, Melvin made incredible progress!
💙 At discharge, Melvin:
🚶 Walks 200 feet with a front-wheeled walker
🛏️ Is independent with bed mobility
🪜 Safely completes stairs, overcoming the vertigo that previously prevented him from doing so
💪 Has significantly reduced pain
👕 Can dress himself with less assistance
🏡 Is able to return home with his wife
Melvin's journey is a wonderful example of what determination, expert therapy, and compassionate care can achieve. We are so proud of his progress and wish him continued health, happiness, and success at home!

When Margaret arrived at EverVella of White Hall, she was recovering from gastrointestinal issues that had left her extremely weak. She required moderate assistance for bed mobility and transfers and could walk only 60 feet with a walker. Her 30-second sit-to-stand score was 0, placing her at a high risk for falls.
Through 63 days of determination, hard work, and the support of our skilled therapy team, Margaret made remarkable progress!
💙 At discharge, Margaret:
🛏️ Is independent with bed mobility
💪 Is independent with transfers
🚶 Walks 200 feet with supervision using a walker

🌟 Discharge Success Story: Congratulations, Beverly! 🌟
Beverly came to EverVella of White Hall after experiencing repeated falls at home. Upon admission, she required contact guard assistance for bed mobility and transfers, could walk 120 feet with a cane, and had fair standing balance with a cautious gait. She also experienced mild to moderate cognitive deficits and needed assistance with activities of daily living.
Her initial assessments showed she was at a high risk for falls, with a 30-second sit-to-stand score of 3 and a Timed Up and Go (TUG) score of 56 seconds.
After just 20 days of dedicated therapy and hard work, Beverly made incredible progress!
💙 At discharge, Beverly:
🛏️ Is independent with bed mobility and transfers
🚶 Walks 150 feet independently with a cane
💪 Improved her 30-second sit-to-stand score from 3 to 10, significantly reducing her fall risk
📈 Improved her Timed Up and Go (TUG) score, further decreasing her risk for falls
⭐ Increased her Functional Reach Test to 5 inches, demonstrating improved balance and stability
🧠 Improved her cognition to within functional limits
👕 Is independent with activities of daily living
❤️ Reports feeling more balanced, safer, and more confident with her diagnosis as she returns home to her assisted living community
