Healing Mindfully đŸ€Helping women build resilient bodies and increase bone strength during perimenopause
Physical Therapist for over 20 years, MPT, CSCS Hi!

My name is Lesley Sevillena. I went to school at The University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, where I got my Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 2004. I continued my education and got my CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and also received my COMT (Certified Orthopedic Manual Therapist). I started expanding my interest in other aspects of health back in 2013 after I got di

vorced. I realized that I had NO CLUE on how to manage my stress, and how to deal with something so traumatic. No one ever taught me these life skills, so I decided to dive into mental, nutritional, and spiritual aspects of health. I started meditating with my kids when they were 5 and 3 years old, and saw the benefits of mindfulness. My driving force at that time was to ensure that my kids had the knowledge to enhance their lives, knowledge that I was only NOW discovering through my own personal trials at 32. Through the years, I listened to endless podcasts, read blogs, and all the self-help books you could imagine. Doing all the research was exhausting and time consuming. Not many people who are going through challenges in life would do the work I did or even know where to begin. I wanted to share everything I learned and have it in one location. So here we are
Healing Mindfully! It took me years to have the courage to finally start a social media page, but I am glad I did. My page is a little bit of everything to help all of you in the journey of life. I hope you find it helpful, and I am very excited to connect with all of you on here.

đŸ‘‹đŸŒ Allow me to reintroduce myself

I’m Lesley
a single mom of two teens, a Sports & Orthopedic Physical Therapist, a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist, and a women’s health coach.

My own health journey has taught me that being healthy is about so much more than exercise.

For years, I dealt with painful cysts, endometriosis, and heavy periods. Like so many women, I knew something didn’t feel right, but I didn’t really understand what my body needed or how much my everyday choices could impact how I felt.

Working with a functional medicine doctor opened my eyes to looking at my health differently
not just managing symptoms, but becoming more proactive about my nutrition, strength, stress, sleep, and lifestyle.

That experience eventually became part of the inspiration behind Healing Mindfully đŸ€

Today, I help midlife women understand their bodies, build strength, create healthier habits and take a more proactive role in their health, so they can feel good now while investing in their health for their 60s, 70s, and 80s.

If you’re navigating your 40s and realizing it’s time to start taking care of you too, you’re in the right place đŸ«¶

You’re not failing because you haven’t found the right diet or workout.

đŸȘ« You’re struggling because your body is running on empty.

One of the biggest challenges I see in the women I work with is poor sleep.

Yet so many are searching for the next supplement, detox, workout program, or hormone hack while only getting 5-6 hours of sleep a night.

Once my clients start improving their sleep habits, everything else gets easier. Their energy improves, cravings decrease, brain fog lifts, workouts feel better, and they finally feel like themselves again.

Sleep is one of the most powerful (and completely free) tools we have for supporting hormone balance, metabolism, muscle recovery, bone health, mood, and overall health during perimenopause.

Before you spend money on the next “solution,” ask yourself

Am I giving my body enough sleep to do what it’s designed to do?

Sometimes the most effective health intervention isn’t adding another thing to your to-do list—it’s going to bed earlier.

Happy Father’s Day Dad!! It makes me happy to see you traveling the world (almost at 100 countries đŸ€Ż), having fun, and staying healthy. Thank you for always being so thoughtful and being there for me and the kids. I love you Dad!

This client reached out because she was going through perimenopause and experiencing a lot of changes in her body.

She felt off and uncomfortable in her own skin with a lot of bloating.

She was already pretty active doing hot yoga, tennis, and lifting
but she wasn’t seeing any results.

She told me when she traveled for work, her healthy routine would go out the window. One of her goals was to find a way to maintain movement and proper nutrition when traveling. And she is now CONSISTENT!

Since working with Healing Mindfully, she is seeing the best results all because of the 360-approach and 1:1 coaching.

Exercise and diet are just two pieces to the puzzle.

If you want to learn more about custom programming and if it will be the right fit, let’s talk.

Somewhere between taking care of everyone else and surviving the day
you forgot what it feels like to feel good too 😔

You’re not the only one feeling like this
I promise.

Feeling exhausted all the time isn’t normal, and there IS a way to change things so you can begin to feel better.

More energy. Better sleep. Better moods. Feeling stronger in your own body again.

You deserve more than just running on empty and giving yourself whatever energy is left at the end of the day. đŸ€
