So much of what feels like burnout in high-achieving women is actually identity collapse. When the business is your worth, every bad week feels like a personal failure. Every slow month feels like proof of something deeper. Every dip in revenue, every unanswered DM, every launch that underperforms, somehow becomes a referendum on your worth as a human.
This is the deeper layer of perfectionism most ambitious women never address. We treat the surface symptoms, the overworking, the over-editing, the inability to rest, while the core belief underneath stays untouched. My work defines my worth.
The shift is learning to hold your work as a reflection of your effort and your strategy in this season. Nothing more. The launches will move. The numbers will fluctuate. Your worth as a person does not.
A journal prompt I give every new client: if my business disappeared tomorrow, what would still make me valuable?
Sit with that one. It changes how you run everything else.
