Shout out to one of my favorite practitioners in the Upper Valley! She is phenomenal!!!

WELLNESS AS A WAY OF LIFE

What does wellness look like when it becomes part of everyday life—rather than something we pursue only when something is wrong?

For me, Zero Balancing has become part of that way of life.

It isn’t something I turn to only when I’m hurting or feeling “off.”

It has become a way of staying connected to my body.

A way of listening before my body has to shout.

A way of releasing the tension I may be carrying before it becomes something I have to work through.

A way of coming back to my center, feeling grounded, and remembering that my body is constantly communicating with me.

✨ Wellness isn’t always about fixing something.

Sometimes it’s about maintaining connection.

Supporting your body.

Creating space to breathe.

Releasing what you no longer need to carry.

And learning to recognize the subtle messages your body is already giving you.

This is why Zero Balancing has become part of my life—not just something I receive when I need it, but something that supports how I want to live.

🌿 Wellness becomes powerful when it becomes part of who you are, not just something you do when something is wrong.

Come back to your body. Come back to yourself.

A 2025 study 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘧𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘙𝘦𝘪𝘬𝘪 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘺 𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘮𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘯 𝘊𝘩𝘪𝘭𝘥𝘳𝘦𝘯 𝘞𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘓𝘦𝘶𝘬𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘢 𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘈𝘨𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 5-7 𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘗𝘢𝘪𝘯, 𝘝𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘪𝘨𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘘𝘶𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘰𝘧 𝘓𝘪𝘧𝘦: 𝘈 𝘙𝘢𝘯𝘥𝘰𝘮𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘥 𝘊𝘰𝘯𝘵𝘳𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘺 by Demir et al. examined the effect of Reiki performed on 66 children with leukemia between the ages of 5–7 years on pain, vital signs, oxygen saturation, and quality of life. The research was a double-blind, pre-test-post-test randomized controlled experimental study. The data were collected using Information Form, Wong-Baker FACES Pain Scale (W-BPS), Vital Signs Follow-up Form, and The Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL) 3.0 Cancer Module.

Reiki was performed to the Reiki group for 20–30 minutes once per day, for 3 consecutive days and pseudo-Reiki was applied to the pseudo-Reiki group by an independent nurse during the same period. Reiki did not affect the vital signs of the children but was effective in reducing pain and increasing the quality of life compared with the pseudo-Reiki and control groups.

Noting the study's rigorous design and its evidence-based rationale for incorporating Reiki treatments more broadly into cancer care practices, CRR reviewers scored this paper, published in the 𝘌𝘶𝘳𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘑𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘖𝘯𝘤𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘨𝘺 𝘕𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨, highly (Very Good/Excellent) using the CRR Touchstone evaluation process.
