Curious about EMDR therapy?

Many common symptoms of mental illness can be linked to traumatic memories or adverse childhood experiences. EMDR, or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, is a structured therapy that can be particularly effective for reprocessing traumatic memories using the brain's natural adaptive information-processing. Similar to how a bandage creates the proper environment for a wound to heal itself, EMDR can help the brain heal itself by safely accessing and restoring adaptive connections.
