Today’s therapy: AAC plus a book 📚📱 Frankie’s Magical Day and Snap Core First 🧚🏻‍♀️

Pairing verbal expression with AAC means the user can: connect verbal language with using AAC, reinforcing the use of a device, clarifying their message, and expanding their language!

Also, therapy sessions outside are so lovely 🌞 Loving this soon to be summer weather!!

This game is a crowd pleaser!

I love a therapy material that can be used amongst different groups and while targeting various skills.

As the pig eats more hamburgers, his belly “pops” and his throws his arms up in the air!

How do I use it in therapy?!

➡️To practice requesting
➡️ For sentence expansion: taking “red” to “I want the red hamburger”
➡️ Turn taking with peers
➡️ Incentive for articulation/phonology practice
➡️ Giving multi step directions: First pick up the yellow hamburger, next put it in the pig’s mouth, then push down on his head three times
