Twenty years.
Long post because it’s a LONG time! 😂
It honestly feels like the blink of an eye.
This June marked 20 years of serving Whitehall and the surrounding communities. The other day, I adjusted a pregnant mama who I first treated when she was about six years old…and I was only 29! Moments like that really put time into perspective.🥹
Looking back, I feel incredibly blessed and deeply humbled. There are patients who have trusted me with their care every single month for all 20 years—people who have truly become part of my extended family. Others I’ve had the privilege of seeing a few times a year, every couple of years, or even after long stretches of life happening in between. That kind of trust and familiarity is something I will never take for granted.
Over the last two decades we’ve experienced just about everything together. A break-in. A computer hack. A sewer backup. A bat flying around the traction room (yes, really!) and then the fire. We survived it all!
I also have been fortunate to have some great associate doctors in the office over the years as well as support staff. I’d like to think they moved on because I taught them well enough to chase their own dreams of starting a practice or new career. Through it all, Wendy our office manager and chiropractic assistant has stood faithfully by my side for nearly 17 years—through the long days, the challenges, the rebuilds, and the victories. I truly could not have done any of this or would want to without her steady support, patience, and heart. She truly cares about our patients as much as I do. We are also so fortunate to have Noelle our massage therapist who brings healing and comfort to our patients through massage!
Along the way, our practice has grown beyond chiropractic care. The Inspired Weight Loss Program has become one of the most meaningful and rewarding parts of my career, allowing me to walk alongside hundreds of people as they reclaim their health and confidence. I’ve also expanded into athletic injury evaluations and sideline coverage, and I’m truly honored to care for athletes at five local schools this upcoming year.
To every patient who has trusted me over the past 20 years—whether you’ve been with me since day one, come in once a month, once every few years, or have since moved on—thank you. Your trust, your stories, your families, and your lives have shaped not just my career, but my life. It has been one of the greatest honors I could ever imagine to be invited into your healing, your milestones, and your journeys.
Thank you, Whitehall and the surrounding communities, for giving me a career that has been more fulfilling, more meaningful, and more humbling than I ever could have imagined…and I’m not quite done!
