✨ Midweek Motivation ✨

It’s Wednesday—the heart of the week. 🗓️

Sometimes the middle feels like the hardest part… not at the exciting start, not quite at the finish line. But this is where perseverance builds progress. 💪 Every step, even the small ones, is movement forward.

Pause. Breathe. Look back and notice how far you’ve already come this week. Then keep pressing on—you’re closer to your goals than you realize. 🌿

🌿 Life is full of seasons—some filled with joy, others heavy with grief and questions we never thought we’d have to ask. I know what it’s like to walk through loss, to balance the demands of children, business, and everyday life while carrying the unseen weight of pain.

Counseling isn’t about “fixing” you—it’s about creating a safe place where you can lay down what you’ve been carrying, process the hurts, and begin to move forward with hope. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting the struggle, but allowing God’s strength to meet you in it.

Scripture reminds us, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18). That truth is one I have lived and now bring into the counseling room with compassion, understanding, and a faith that holds steady.

Whether you’re navigating grief, trauma, relationship struggles, or the lingering effects of past experiences, I would be honored to walk alongside you. In addition to talk therapy, I now offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)—a powerful, evidence-based therapy for healing trauma and finding freedom from the weight of painful memories.

As a graduate intern at East Texas Counseling Group, I currently offer counseling for just $35 per session while under supervision.

🗓 My hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 AM to 6 PM.

There are seasons in life when the weight we carry feels almost impossible. Grief after loss. The strain of relationships. The ache of unanswered prayers. The exhaustion of trying to keep businesses, families, and our own hearts afloat all at the same time.

I know that journey well. Walking through loss myself, I’ve felt the sting of brokenness, the loneliness of “strong face” days, and the nights when sleep didn’t come easy. I’ve wrestled with balancing responsibilities — raising children, managing a business, and answering God’s call into counseling — while still navigating my own pain.

And yet, even in the valley, God has always met me there. His Word reminds us:

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

That verse isn’t just ink on a page for me — it’s been a lifeline. And it’s one of the reasons I stepped into counseling. Because I know how deeply we need safe spaces to grieve, to untangle our thoughts, and to rediscover hope.
