The Levitt AMP Whitesburg Music Series presented by Appalachian Regional Healthcare is free to the public. Join us at the Mountain Heritage Stage every Thursday at 6 from July 22 through September 23. The Music Series presents a wide range of music to Whitesburg and Letcher county in a family friendly atmosphere. From bluegrass and old time to jazz and soul to rock and world music, you'll enjoy s

ome of the finest performers in the country right here! Levitt AMP Whitesburg is a project of the Cowan Community Center who first received the award for the 2018 summer season. Levitt Foundation has extended our latest award through the 2022 summer season. The music series would not be possible without our partners the City of Whitesburg, Mountain Heritage Festival Committee, Appalshop, Whitesburg Farmer's Market and Letcher County Tourism. The Levitt AMP Whitesburg Music Series is supported in part by the Mortimer & Mimi Levitt Foundation, a private foundation that empowers towns and cities across America to transform underused public spaces into thriving destinations through the power of free, live music. In 2021, over 550 free Levitt concerts will take place in 26 towns and cities, all featuring a rich array of music genres and high caliber talent. The Levitt AMP Whitesburg Music Series presented by Appalachian Regional Healthcare receives financial support from ARH, Mountain Comprehensive Health Corporation, Double Kwik Stores, Appalachian Impact Fund, MACED and the community.

To say last night was a huge letdown would be putting it mildly. We're still pretty bummed out.
Big shoutout to The Pastime Band who took the stage in a deluge. They sounded great anyway. Looked for a minute the rain was done a few songs in, but 10 minutes after the last pic was taken the rain was back with lightning and we had to shut it down.
Bigger shoutout to the brave music lovers who were still there when we had to call it quits. We love you all!
