We are beyond excited to announce that Rachelle is officially a Certified Optometric Vision Therapist (COVT)! 🎉🙌🏼🤓 This is an optional credential that Vision Therapists can obtain by working under the supervision of a board-certified optometrist that has completed their fellowship in vision therapy and rehabilitation (FOVDR).

COVT Requirements:
✅ At least 2,000 hours of clinical work in a VT office

✅ Complete 9 written papers about vision therapy

✅ Multiple choice examination

✅ Oral interview at the Annual OVDRA meeting

Dr. Giebel and Rachelle attended the Optometric Vision Development & Rehabilitation Association (OVDRA) annual conference in Louisville, Kentucky! They learned about the latest treatments and technology to enhance patient success.
