🚨 WIBAUX — WE NEED YOU! 🚨

Our Wibaux Longhorns Friday Night Lights campaign with T-Mobile is moving forward, but now we need our community behind us! 💙💛🏈

We have an incredible opportunity to win the T-Mobile Friday Night Lights GRAND PRIZE and bring much-needed lighting improvements to our football field. For our school and our community, this would be SO much more than new lights—it would mean bringing Friday Night Football under the lights and creating an even better place for our students, families, athletes, and community to come together. 🌟

But we cannot do this alone! We need everyone to help spread the word on Instagram, TikTok, FB, and X. 📣

👉 SHARE our campaign posts
👉 LIKE, COMMENT & ENGAGE with our posts
👉 MAKE YOUR OWN POSTS encouraging people to support Wibaux
👉 TAG your friends and family
👉 TELL EVERYONE you know to get behind the Longhorns! 🐂

Whether you live in Wibaux, grew up here, graduated from Wibaux, have family here, or simply believe small schools deserve BIG opportunities—we need you!

This is one of those times when a small community can make a BIG noise. 📢

💙💛 LET'S SHOW T-MOBILE WHAT WIBAUX CAN DO! 💛💙

Help us spread the word, get this campaign moving, and LET'S BRING HOME THAT GRAND PRIZE! 🏆🏈✨

Wibaux Strong. Longhorn Proud. ALL IN. 🐂💙💛

Be safe and please, check on your neighbors

As we approach the weekend, some records will be tested. For example, in Glasgow, MT if we see our forecast low in the low 70s on Monday morning that would break the old record high minimum of 67 set in 2005. The unusual humidity combined with poor overnight recoveries will exacerbate heat related risk this weekend. Now is a great time to review the signs of heat related stress and keep your safety strategies in mind.

🚨 OFFICIAL “DON’T MAKE US COME GET YOU” HEAT PSA 🚨

Mother Nature has cranked Montana up to “surface of the sun” and apparently woke up this morning choosing violence to inflict on us this weekend.

It’s supposed to be over 100° this weekend.

That means:

* Drink water like you owe it money.
* Toss in some electrolytes every now and then.
* Wear sunscreen unless you’ve always wanted to resemble a gas station hot dog.
* Stay in the shade when you can.
* Check on your grandparents, neighbors, and that one buddy who’s convinced “I’ll be fine.”

Now listen closely…

🍺 Beer is not water.
☕ Coffee is not water.
🥤 Mountain Dew is definitely not water.
🥃 Whiskey is absolutely not water.
❄️ An ice-cold Busch Light is refreshing… but it’s still not hydration.

If your weekend plans include roofing a house, picking up and stacking hay, rebuilding a fence, mowing five acres, detailing the pickup, washing the horse trailer, and grilling for 40 people—all between noon and 4 p.m.—you may be suffering from heat-induced poor decision making before you’ve even started.

And no, saying “I’m built different” does not make you immune to heat exhaustion. The sun doesn’t care how tough you are, what you bench, how many cows you’ve worked, or how long you’ve lived in Montana. It’ll humble you faster than a toddler with your phone.

🚑 Your local EMS crews have a humble request:
Please don’t become this weekend’s “Hold my beer and watch this” heat stroke statistic patient.

Hydrate before you’re thirsty.
Replace those electrolytes.
Take breaks.
Keep the kiddos and critters cool.
Never leave kids or pets in a vehicle.
And if you stop sweating, get dizzy, start acting confused, or think you’re winning an argument with the sun… it’s time to cool off and get help.

Our goal is simple:
Let’s all survive the weekend with the same number of family members, pets, and functioning brain cells we started with.

Stay safe, stay cool, and for the love of all that’s holy… drink some dang water. ☀️🥵💧🇺🇸🚑
