United Regional was proud to support the Juneteenth Gospel Celebration hosted by the Spirit of Excellence Team!

Our community health team provided blood pressure checks and education, the laboratory team completed 34 blood draws, and the Epic training team assisted participants with MyChart setup and troubleshooting. Dr. Ojong, Hospitalist, also led a question-and-answer session for attendees.

The collaboration across teams created a meaningful impact and reflects our commitment to community health.

United Regional’s Trauma Services team brought life-saving education to Grace Church of Iowa Park, providing hands-on training for approximately 40 community members.

Attendees learned how to use an automated external defibrillator (AED), practice Hands-Only CPR, and apply Stop the Bleed techniques — skills that can make a critical difference in an emergency. The team also helped secure a grant to place an AED on-site, further strengthening safety for the church family. Our team created an engaging and welcoming environment, helping participants feel comfortable while gaining confidence through hands-on experience. Opportunities like this reflect United Regional’s commitment to sharing knowledge, empowering others, and supporting the health and well-being of our communities.
