Our second baby born on the 9th, sweet 💙Dian.💙 We had a feeling that once things got going it would be quick. Sure enough, her water broke just before 5am and mom pulled him up out of the water right after 7am. We are so happy that they got the redemptive experience they wanted so badly. And we all celebrated with made from scratch Italian pizza for breakfast 🤤 Carmine had the ingredients shipped in from family in Italy and he was kind enough to share with us. We think we need to hire him to stock our freezer for all the late night births 😉🤔 Congratulations and welcome to the world buddy! 🩵🎉🦕💫🩵

This sweet mama found us as she drove home from the hospital with her previous baby. She immediately knew where she was going for her next birth. She was so strong and was surrounded by so much love and support. We’re so glad you found your way to us and we were able to help welcome your baby girl! 💜🎀💜

What a team these two made! This wasn’t their first rodeo, but first out of hospital and unmedicated. Mom found what worked for her and dad supported in every way, like his life depended on it.

This year’s theme is “This is our moment” recognizing the evidence, community impact, and growing momentum of midwife-led care across rural birth centers, military treatment facilities, and health systems everywhere. We have seen this movement as our center has grown over the years and these ladies show up for their patients day and night!!

📝Things to Note
You can take both in one day or split them up into different months. For those that choose the same day option there is a 1 hour lunch break inbetween. Feel free to go grab something or bring your lunch and stay and eat. We will be practicing comfort measures and birthing positions in class 2, so keep that in mind when deciding on lunch. Breastfeeding classes will be done on a 1:1 basis. We also offer a refresher course if this isn’t your first birth. Get with your midwife for more info or to schedule those. Classes are for our existing birth center clients.

First-time parents came to the Birth Center early on October 1st during our baby boom. Ashlyn labored beautifully and quickly. She especially enjoyed the warm water of the birth tub. 🛁 Baby’s gender was unknown until Mom delivered her little nugget. Dad exclaimed “It’s a Boy” over and over again! We all cheered him on. 🎉💙 Ashlyn was amazing and Luke was so sweet and supportive. ❤️

She did it!! Kayla had her baby!! 🌈
We know you’ve all been eagerly waiting to find out babies gender….🥁
They welcomed another cutie, chunky baby 🩵BOY💙to the family.
Kayla was so strong through the whole process and like the rockstar student midwife she is, she caught her own baby 💁🏼‍♀️
Laughter, tears, w**e, and midnight frosted mini wheats. A time was had!
And probably the biggest in house diaper blowout 🤣 his go home outfit was more like a 30 minute outfit 😬
Congratulations and happy birth day! 🎉 We loved being a part of the big day!

We are growing again! What a fun day celebrating Kayla and Jenny and their new little ones 🤰Both of these sweet mommas are waiting to find out the gender. At yesterday’s shower our staff gave us their guesses: 6 votes for girl and 4 votes for boy for both of them! What do you think they are each having? 💕💙
