I provide an inclusive, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment where the child can be themselves. A place where the child can work to identify and express their feelings. My approach to therapy is solution-focused and advocacy-based. I believe it is important to focus on setting goals and working on reaching them together. I encourage the child to take part in learning and using the coping skills, and I believe children should be celebrated for their positive achievements.

☀️ Beat the Heat & Protect Your Mental Health 🌿

Hot weather can impact more than just your body — it can affect your mood, energy, stress levels, and overall mental well-being too. As temperatures rise, remember to slow down and take care of yourself both physically and emotionally. 💚

Ways to beat the heat this summer:
💧 Stay hydrated
🧢 Take breaks indoors or in the shade
🍉 Eat light, nourishing foods
😴 Prioritize rest and sleep
🌿 Give yourself permission to slow down
📱 Check in on friends, family, and neighbors

It’s okay if your energy feels different during extreme heat. Listen to your body, be gentle with yourself, and make space for rest when needed.

Your child is melting down.

And when feelings don’t feel safe, they come out sideways—
in behavior, in overwhelm, in disconnection.

But when a child feels safe with you…
It becomes easier for those same feelings to come out in words.
In tears, you can sit with.
In moments, you can actually move through together.

Not perfect.
Not every time.
But more and more.
